Looking for a place to have a few drinks before the Paul Heaton gig at Bramell lane. Was very busy before the game with no solution to handle the crowds and then was closed afterwards
Great pub. All the people leaving the negative reviews have clearly never been to the pub. The car park is massive, there are signs all over to instruct customers to enter their reg at the bar. There’s also loads of signs inside and the staff also tell you when you go inside. People are jumping on the bandwagon trying to ruin the reputation of the pub, when really people just need to read!!
The parking is really awkward. It need not be if the staff told you could enter your registration number into a terminal behind the bar. They don't though, so the private company fines you. When you ask the pub for help to appeal, they refuse & tell you to pay the fine. Seriously, just find somewhere else more deserving of your hard earned money!
Parking is a joke, staff and management refuse to acknowledge or help with anything to do with parking fines. Paid my ticket and still received a fine. Good pubs don't use companies that rip their customers off. Much better pubs out there to be going to, avoid this one.
Perfect location for Blades fans, clean, welcoming, gr8 staff.
I was lost outside Brammel lane. In the heat with no where to sit down. When the faire lady Behind the bar , served me with the coolest soda and lime. She was polite and courteous. The pub was very empty for a Sunday. I couldn't think of a better place to go on a hot Sunday afternoon, in search of some shade.
Not the best pub I have been in to be honest and considering it was a match day no security what so ever other than a sign NO AWAY FANS.... I KNOW AWAY FANS WERE IN ..... LUCKILY nothing happened.... Toilets lot to be desired and the disability toilet FULL with hoover mops and other cleaning products......
