Booked a table of 18 for pre drinks this weekend for our work do. To my surprise when I walked in, we had our own room! Lovely set up, own bar, was the perfect setting. Staff were all lovely, attentive and catered very well to me and my very thirsty team of staff. I had never been to The Abbey before, but will definitely be back and will be recommending. Thank you (Didn’t leave a 5* for the food as I didn’t sample any, but it looked lovely)

Popped in just while passing as saw a gentleman eating a Sunday lunch and thought that looks nice. Honestly best decision ever. Our lunch was lovely and a really good size. We will be returning

We visited for a Sunday lunch as didn’t fancy cooking and we were not disappointed! The roast chicken was really good as were the accompanying veg which consisted of carrot and swede mash, broccoli, parsnip and lovely roast potatoes. The side of cauliflower cheese was delicious and there was a jug of extra gravy which was a good touch. Really nice to get a home cooked meal in a pub! The decor is really nice in there and staff are all friendly too. Thanks guys

Lovely meal and nice atmosphere. The food was delicious and the menu has a nice range of different foods to try. Parking is good outside and they have a nice function room upstairs with seperate toilets to the pub downstairs. We had my nans wake here and even the buffet food was great and the staff were friendly.

Met up with some former teammates of mine for a catch up and to watch a World Cup match, impressed with the set up, decor, choice of beers and really good service and will go there again in the future. My own prefered beer was the Belgian Blue, a really top class Christmas beer. Turned out we missed much of the game through having a really good natter.
