   Popped in at tea time on a Tuesday and quite a good atmosphere. An estate pub but with decent real ale although all from one brewery when I went in ( three from Dancing Duck). Very good prices so definitely will call again.

   A great selection of beers. The landlady and landlord are lovely, as are the bar staff, and indeed, the customers. Always a cracking choice of cask ales, really well kept. Such a breath of fresh air, and a lovely atmosphere. A little gem.

   We used The Ale House for my mum's wake a few weeks ago, and we were delighted . Sue provided a fab buffet for us all , with plenty of food and hot drinks, and more importantly for us - in a room to ourselves. Highly recommended!
