Great atmosphere, lovely bar staff in particular libi who was very helpful and very attentive when it came to serving me, very happy and enjoyed my time here!
The staff here are really lovely, welcoming and helpful. in particular Brooke was amazing with me and she made me feel part of the community. she has very good manners, great humour and helped me whenever i needed it
Nice old local pub. We had a few pints of cider there on Sunday. The pub was slowly getting full in the coming evening.
Went today as the only Plymouth Argyle fan on my own Decent people...no idiots...good boozer...shame argyle lost
Called in at the shakey on hillsbourgh corner pre owls match on 19th November 2022, met a group of mates for a few bevs before ko, very busy pub with great selection of beers on offer, getting served was never a problem, now getting to customer service when I got in the pub I realised I had left my match ticket at home the landlord heard of this and went into the back to print out my ticket. It would have been very easy for him to say he was to busy because it was full, what he did was real customer service and would just like to say a big thank you, a proper landlord top man.
Good pub great staff and cheap drinks would recommend :)
So sorry about incident yday where I fell asleep in your pub . Unfortunately I suffer from sporadic bouts of narcolepsy and this was one of those occasions. Please tender my sincere apologies to the lady I offended - it won't happen again because am so embarrassed I have barred myself a shame cos it is a warm friendly place. Gerry
Green King pub on busy road. Choice of 2 real ales. I had the IPA rather than the stronger Abbot Ale. It was fine. The pub is one open room with lots of TV's. It had a good Friday afternoon buzz.
