I’ve tried to raise concerns about the delays and lack of communication in this antenatal clinic, but it’s become clear this is just the norm. Appointments routinely run late—typically by at least an hour, but often two or more—without any explanation or effort to improve. While the midwives are all genuinely nice and very helpful, there’s a clear disconnect between departments, as the midwives and consultants are managed separately. This leads to constant communication breakdowns. For example, once I wasn’t informed that my consultant was on leave until I’d already arrived, resulting in a completely wasted visit. When I do see the consultant, the experience feels rushed and impersonal, with only general questions asked and no real checks performed. Sadly, I’ve come to accept this, but it’s disappointing to feel uncertain about the quality of care during such an important time. I had hoped for better support and professionalism.

Lovely staff, amazing nurses. I was transferred over from MRI and didnt really know how to get to antenatal from Car Park A which is closest to the clinic. If you go through Urgent Care and follow the signs its much less of a walk. Dont need to go via main entrance.
