Great lively pub with brilliant staff and special thanks to the guy behind the bar who helped me get a taxi when my phone died.
I've known this pub a long, long time. Used to be part owned by Students Union and beer was subsided like Moonshine(AbbeyDale Brewery) Met for a birthday celebration and was surprised how steep the prices are. Yes the staff are ok. But expect town prices on S10. Tav round the corner much cheaper and an actual pub.
An outstanding pub that has a great mix . Plenty of students who are pre town and going out out . Locals who just want to enjoy and have a good evening . Good music and a great atmosphere and a nice area out back to sit and watch the world go by . Dog friendly and decently priced with good offers all around Well worth a visit in a great area also Special mention for Alex the manager , great customer service and made to feel welcome
Absolutely beautiful pub ! Landlord and his 4 legged furry landlady Millie are welcoming , keeping the atmosphere light and positive! Staff are friendly and on the ball . The pub is clean and smells lovely with good drinks served at smaller prices !
Good drink selection, big outside seated area with tv's which is good for the summer and I'm pretty sure it's got heaters outside for when it's cooler , loads of seating and TV's inside , definitely worth a visit if you are having a drink at the other pubs in broomhill
Feels more like it did 10 or so years ago again. Friendly staff and welcome, great value and a consistently good pint.
Always had a soft spot for the F&D since my first visit in 1986. Sadly, the Courage Directors and John Smith's Magnet is long gone, but the pub is clean and warm and the welcome spot on.
Both dog and human friendly. A comfortable experience with the most friendly staff. Made to feel very welcome and appreciated for my custom as I left. Would definitely recommend to others that the Fox and Duck is a lovely place to spend time.
We love this pub. We go every week. Right in the centre of Broomhill. Great staff, great prices & a lovely atmosphere. Thanks.
