Been taking my son for wound care, the receptionist is friendly and helpful, the Nurse Michelle is also lovely and her care is first rate. It's a great clinic.

Your Review: It was my misfortune to have to deal with the receptionist on 4/1/23 The person in question is a white female with shoulder length blonde hair in her late 50’s early 60’s. After saying good morning I attempted to explain the reason for my visit however the woman interrupted me and brusquely said, “it’s nothing to do with us you need dermatology!” I said to her, “are you going to listen to my enquiry ?” I again tried to explain that they had directed me to reception but half way through was interrupted again by the receptionist who said,” ring dermatology!” She then ignored me and engaged in conversation with another receptionist. I was astonished at their rudeness! She returned her attention to me and again said pointing “You need to go over there to dermatology! I laughed at the irony of them having a large sign telling people in great detail how rudeness and abuse would not be tolerated by the staff. It appears to me that they can be as rude as they like but I am sure the minute you reply in a similar vein they jump around and say how ill treated they are. I can only imagine the trauma and distress someone like her causes to less able and vulnerable people who attend the surgery. I am a professional person and for many years I have dealt with vulnerable people with multiple health issues and I have never spoken to them the way I was spoken to! The principle doctor needs to have an input with this staff to teach them the meaning of civility and patience.

Had a letter to go to Durnford Street clinic after my traumatic surgery. The receptionist was lovely. She said I wasn't on the list but could clearly see I had an appointment because I had a letter. She then said the nurse wouldn't see me because I wasn't on her list. The receptionist did her best to find out what could be done. Next minute the nurse came out extremely rude and obnoxious saying she can't see me because it will put all her patients back. She said I was at the wrong clinic and made me feel like I was stupid even though my letter said otherwise. I have never met such a nurse in all my dealings with the NHS! I would give 5 stars for the receptionist but the nurse doesn't even deserve the 1 star!

This morning I attended the clinic to get 32 staples removed, after a knee operation. The staff on arrival were lovely in how they greeted me at the reception. The district nurse who removed the staples was so patient and reassuring. Very professional. I can't praise the clinic enough. It is a gem of a place to have in Middleton. Many thanks for attention.
