   Great Local Pub With a great landlady who has great relations with all the customers, including all the local families who she goes the extra mile with! Great pub for sports with huge screens and great atmosphere having the sound on is a must for me for sport and they always have it ready and on to a volume which we can hear!

   Brilliant local pub! The Banner Cross is one of the best pubs in Sheffield. The atmosphere is always welcoming, the staff are friendly and quick to serve, and there’s a great selection of drinks at reasonable prices. It’s perfect for watching live sport, catching up with friends, or just relaxing in the beer garden on a sunny day. You can tell they really care about keeping it a proper community pub. Highly recommend

   Booked a table to watch Arsenal vs Sunderland. Had no problems with booking: they responded to my request within the hour and then when I called to let them know I’d be 15 minutes late they were more than accommodating. The service was great (as always!) and atmosphere for the game was great. I never hesitate to recommend the Banner to watch a football match or even just for a quick pint. Nice crowd and brilliant staff.

   All thought food isn’t available in the banner they do provide an extensive selection of quality traditional bar snacks. Also of note the staff and management are more than happy for customers to eat their own food on the premises including dishes from any of the numerous local takeaways. A friendly atmosphere and warm welcome await you in what is my favourite local proper pub! Kid friendly to boot!

   An amazing bar with extremely friendly staff and customers. A good old fashioned pub. Varied drinks and reasonable prices. Watch football in there and recently line dancing along with other nights out. Allowed to bring our own food in. Sophie is a 5* landlady

   Early birds at 4pm on New Year's Eve, returning from our afternoon walk up the Porter to Ringinglow, the Banner Cross team were friendly and helpful. With Moonshine on tap, Sports TV provided additional entertainment, the lounge was extremely clean and we recommend this pub. Thank you Banner Cross.
