   Several years ago, I underwent intensive treatment and suffer from chronic illnesses. The care I receive from the staff is truly excellent. I've had a few less than satisfactory visits, but only with doctors who came to the clinic temporarily. The staff who work there permanently are very professional. All the doctors and other staff are very helpful and deserve recognition, and I am grateful to each doctor, but I especially appreciate Dr. Perkins. I am satisfied with this clinic and wouldn't trade it for any other. Thank you for the excellent care.

   I've been using Denton Medical Practice as my family GP for about 5 years now and, all I can say is what a wonderful place to have as a GP. Everyone working there wants to assist you with a smile on their face. Dr Barry is such a nice person, professional and very patient to listen to all you have to say to him regarding your visit. Definitely, no regrets at all!

   I have been a patient of this practice for many years now and so far the care given is the best I could have hoped for. If the practioners consider my complaint to be an urgent matter they have seen me the same day on more than one occasion, so who can complain about that and when I need a telephone consultation with the pharmacist they give me plenty of time and understanding to discuss and help resolve or manage my condition via several appointments if necessary

   I have been with Denton medical practice for around 4/5 years, they have been extremely helpful and my children also attend the practise. My child has additional needs and a specific dr has built a very strong relationship up with him, which I’m extremely grateful for, as he struggles around people. The majority of doctors and nurses are very kind and helpful. I have Chronic health conditions and numerous times they have gone out of their way to help and advise me, in a quick and timely manner. The reception staff are also very helpful and have always been polite, kind and very informative. I would definitely recommend Denton medical practice to anyone who is looking for a GP in the area.

   Dr Despina Smith is the most caring and understanding Doctor I've ever seen. She is so professional and really listens to you. I would highly recommend this practice, as my experience here has always been fantastic, from receptionists to nurses and Doctors, and I've been with this practice for 45 years. Keep up the good work guys!

   Mental health support is almost non existent even in cases where it's well documented over years & every ailment you have is a "viral infection". Do not expect to get an appointment booked less than a month from when you're actually ill. Some of the staff are just rude.

   It's a waste of words and nerves to describe what's going on there. 1 star because I can't give 0 stars. The Receptionists staf in this GP practice are so condescending! Just one Male receptionist is nice and helpful .I hope I will never have to deal with them again. Your health is nothing to them.I did live in many parts of England but have never experienced anything like this. Doctors don't care - They ignored my symptoms completely and now I have to go to have a procedure that could have ben avoided if the doctors hadn't downplayed my symptoms.... I finally broke down and left.....shame it wasn't sooner

   This doctor's practice is unethical - they cancelled prescriptions for medications I was on for 35 years namely a reliever inhaler to force me to come in for an asthma review, leaving me without medication during an asthma attack. My asthma reviews have never been useful or changed anything, just blow into this tube and score the same as the last review. A few months later they decided to cancel me as a patient just after starting antidepressants because my address was not in the area, I had previously applied a year before that to stay at the practice despite moving so I had done what was required to stay at the practice. This left me without pain medication for my back and I was also not able to obtain the repeat prescription for the antidepressants and had to stop them despite being severely depressed. I have ASD and am thus a vulnerable patient, they simply do not care to check how their actions impact their patients. I still have not managed to register with a new practice, but I'm not going back there now. They said I have to re-register if I need to go back, I would rather suffer until I find a better practice.

   Honestly so dissatisfied and upset with the service received. I called up on Tuesday 6th December to book an urgent appointment in as I’d already spoke to 111 and been to A&E the night before, where a lady on reception at Denton Medical Practice advised me to call up again tomorrow before 11am to book an urgent appointment and she guaranteed I would get one. I tried to call up this morning at 8:45 and the receptionist was very blunt and suggested there were no more urgent appointments for today and advised I speak to 111 or visit a walk in centre. Something I have already done. I spent 12 hours in A&E the other night and with my current symptoms I struggled to sit for that long due to the joint pains in my back. The lack of care and professionalism honestly shocks me and although I was practically begging the receptionist to help me out like even getting me in if there was a cancellation to which she replied they won’t contact us but I can contact them (how on earth would I know if there are any cancellations, do they expect me to call up, wait on hold and waste my day just to be disappointed) I’m furious and should the receptionist had some slight more empathy, it may not have been as bad but there was no understanding or caring nature as a GP practice receptionist should! Will be looking to make a formal complaint against the practice for the lady who I spoke to own the 6th and guaranteed I would get an urgent appointment if I called before 11am today.

   As someone who has long term chronic health problems, I find consistency of care and information is vital to my overall well-being. I personally love the online system to make appointments, and phone appointments as needed suit my busy work schedule. I have found the team helpful and to go out their way to find information or help me out. When my baby needed to be seen they also saw him the same day to reassure me. The only times I’ve found it difficult is when I couldn’t get through on the phone for a same day urgent appointment- but that has been the same at every surgery I’ve every been at!
