I have used the Contact Us app twice now and am so impressed with it within half an hour of sending my problem I have been contacted by the surgery with an appointment last week with Dr Mohammad and today with David Paramedic and both consultation were very good. This system relieves the phone lines and is an excellent service many thanks to Millgate and Ann Street Surgeries

The quality of service given by Millgate used to be excellent. In the past year it has declined to the level of being unacceptable to clients with long term health needs. They are understaffed, and it's impossible to get to see the same doctor on a regular basis. The NHS promises continuity of care. I have health issues going back ten years, I don't want to have to go over my details every time I see a new Dr. My issues are interwoven, and complex. The care of ling term sufferers needs to be addressed and we need our own booking in system.

Call with 2 issues, booked me 1 and Ignored the second request, why not book me two back to back if you can only go through 1 issue per session, then I also have to go back for bloods taken. So instead of 1 session where everything could have been sorted, I have to attend at least 3 in total meaning time off work, and time taken by the gp. Doesnβt make sense to me

Very satisfied with the care and attention by staff and doctors . Always seem to get an an appointment the same day for urgent requests. My husband recently handed in his repeat prescription and his medication was ready next day at his preferred pharmacy. Well done millgate practices.

My experience at Ann Street Surgery today was excellent. The receptionist on duty and her colleagues went above and beyond to help sort an important issue - to me - regarding my Diabetic monitoring. Special thanks to Debbie (Prescriptions) who, over the many years in her job, has always gone the βextra mileβ to help. Today was no exception. Thank you ladies and Debbie for your patience and kindness - doing, what I know at times, must be a very stressful job.

More often than not the system works if you're able to use it correctly. I'm able to use the system and get help the same day. Some people aren't able too though, particularly the elderly and people trying to get children ready and off to school. I think it would be a good idea to have the forms open twice a day rather than just at 8. Maybe 8 and again at 1pm to give everyone a chance. What I haven't been happy with however is getting an appointment with a doctor for my special needs son. The last time I took him in he saw a junior doctor who checked him over, then another doctor came in to go over everything again to make sure the junior doctor was correct in his diagnosis. It happened on a previous appointment too. This caused him distress, he doesn't have the understanding or patience to play Guinea pig. He's registered on the learning disability register and this shouldn't be allowed to happen. So In my opinion the practice doesn't meet his needs. I find this very disappointing and they need to have appropriate training in autism and other special needs. I'm considering moving my son to somewhere more suitable to his needs because he needs to see the same people and build up relationships.

The Doctor I saw today and previously I cannot praise her enough. She is very professional and empathetic. Listens to you and explains fully what the treatment and plan is. The receptionist is always pleasant and welcoming.

Worst service ever, Iβve told the doctor a 1000 times I am unable to use the online service to ask for my medication so ringing reception and explaining this they will make out as if itβs the biggest task in the world for them to do it. The last one was so lazy she actually sent me a threatening letter to tell me not ask for them to do it again, every-time you go into the doctors there in deep conversations and laughing so itβs like Iβm stressing them by asking them to do some work. Also, trying to get a doctors appointment is an absolute joke!!!! always being told by 9am there is no more appointments available. When you actually get to see a doctor they are lovely and I feel like they are trying their best, but the receptionist are awful they will do anything to avoid doing any work.

Good service if you know how to use it. Getting an appointment can be difficult unless you are on line early in the morning. Your queries are dealt with swiftly. After a recent visit I was told 6 people had failed to show up for appointments this is unacceptable and these people should be fined for this, too many are waiting for appointments for this to happen. The new extended times are brilliant for anyone who is working. Would like to see an advice line set up for you to ask questions about your health re the advert about carrying the box around with you, most wouldnβt make an appointment unless they had something definite wrong with them.
