My Staffy Cleo has just completed a 6 week course following an operation on her cruciate ligament. I couldn't recommend Emma highly enough. She was ever so welcoming both to me and Cleo!! My girl isn't a a swimmer at all, so Emma was extremely patient with her and put her at ease. Each lap around the pool was rewarded with a cuddle and I honestly think by her last session she actually enjoyed herself! Was thrilled to see Cleo's muscle tone improving and would have no hesitancy in returning here should we need to. Cleo was fully covered on my insurance and Emma provided a receipt on the spot which was immediately accepted by my insurance company. Thanks so much Emma!

Highly recommended! Emma was brilliant with my anxious dog who has now learned to swim! She had a great deal of experience with dogs which was clear on our first communication with her. Emma is so knowledgeable about issues dogs can have and is very supportive. have had to pause our sessions temporarily we can’t wait to restart my gsd regular swim sessions. Thankyou!

I'd been to a couple of other hydrotherapists, before High Lane Hydro opened, and there is no comparison. It's brilliantly equipped, superbly maintained and much more hygienic than any other I've seen. That said, the main reason it's so good is down to Emma the owner and hydrotherapist. She is truly committed, extremely knowledgeable and incredibly caring towards the dogs she works with. I am a canine behaviourist and often get asked if I know anywhere offering hydrotherapy, the only place that I recommend is High Lane.

Emma has done absolute wonders for my two small, fluffy, once-water-hating cross breeds! Not only have they lost over 4kg between them, but they’ve also stacked on the muscle and become much, much more confident in the water. Both dogs look physically better after only a few months of hydrotherapy sessions, and with her guidance, their diet has been changed for the long term to ensure they keep the weight off and stay at a healthy weight. Both dogs adore Emma and love getting a cuddle and a love from her before, during and after their sessions. Even my nervous dog (who usually doesn’t like anyone!) is calm and happy whilst with Emma, and has been from start. I can whole heartedly recommend High Lane Hydrotherapy to any dog owner who is looking for a hydrotherapist, whether that be for rehabilitation, weight loss or fun swims!

My golden retriever, Butch, is over 16 years old. Emma, the owner, has been his hydrotherapist for over 5 years. Butch looks forward to his bi-weekly sessions which have done wonders for the strength and flexibility of his back legs. At the end of a session Emma washes/shampoos Butch. Emma moved to the clean High Lane facilities, which she had custom-built, 2 years ago. Butch and I unreservedly recommend Emma and High Lane Hydrotherapy.

Emma is fabulous with the dogs, she really understands the level of exercise they need and adjusts it to the individuals needs. My 14 year old Golden retriever has been swimming with Emma for many years and I can honestly say she really cares about his whole well being of the dogs in her care. She has a vast amount of knowledge when it comes to helping the dogs in her care, I wouldn’t trust ‘my boy’ with just anyone but I trust Emma. The added bonus is that as well as keeping him fit and well he also loves his weekly swim.
