DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!!!!! I was told to come in on Saturday at 1pm to find out the place is closed as the doors were locked . I tried ringing on Google however it was clearly stated on there that the offices are closed today and try again.Not professional at all. No wonder they have a rating of 2.2 on Google!!!!!!!!
1 star due to appointment made quickly following referral. The rest of the service was appalling. Called the day before my appointment was due to say they needed to change my appointment to later on in the day so to fast from lunch time instead the morning. They called again the morning of my appointment to see if I could come in earlier at the time I was originally given. I explained that someone called me the day before to change this appointment to later on in the day so therefore I hadn't fasted. Agreed to keep to later on in the day. They called back not five minutes later to say they needed me to come in at lunchtime at my original timeslot. I let them know that I was annoyed as my day had been planned around my appointment. After the scan I was told the results would be with my GP in a weeks time. I queried as the website said 24-48 hours and my referral said 48 hours. I've called my GP a week later and nothing has been received. Called Mediscan and they couldn't tell if the report has been sent because the person who does the report "uses a different email address". This service appears to be poorly managed and doesn't have good patient experience at the forefront of their care. I would rather have gone to my local hospital instead of a service that rocks up in an unfamiliar GP surgery and doesn't deliver what they say on their website.
ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. Had an Ultrasound in September. Still haven’t received results after 8 weeks. Only upon calling mediscan 17 times over this period of time, I finally get through today to be told that my results will now be sent over Monday… APPALLING SERVICE. Now I’ve struggled on for 8 weeks with a hernia. Will be seeking advice from solicitors!
If I could give 0 I would . Had none stop problems with these lot for 5 weeks now after having a dating scan done I was told I wasn't pregnant ( I have multiple positive home pregnancy tests and every sign and symptom of pregnancy even a bump) after receiving the images of the scan a baby can be clearly seen on the screen but when I told them via email i was basically called a liar and told they use only professional people.... but I had 2 students scanning me who didn't have a clue what they was doing because they're not qualified to do it yet. I'm now 12 weeks and 2 days into my 1st trimester with my baby not receiving any antenatal care or important vitamins. DONT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT TO BE LIED TO
Had an ultrasound on a hernia 16/09/2020 11:15am and was told I would be waiting 7 to 10 days for my GP to receive my results. With the possibility of my job at stake due to the length of time I may have to remain on sick leave I took it upon myself to contact mediscan ultrasound department to see if I could get my results fast tracked to my GP. The gentleman I spoke to was very understanding, found my details and said he would forward my scans to my my GP that was today 17/09/2020 09:25am. I found my scan was stress free and the call I made was reassuring. I gave 3 stars because I'm waiting to see if the gentleman I spoke to will honour what he said he would do for me. All in all a pleasent experience so far and would recommend
Tried phoning number given for a number of days to finally get through to be told my GPs referral had not been received. Contacted GP and receptionist said this had been sent 3 days prior to me ringing and to ring them back and say if there was still an issue for them to contact my GP. Phoned again and was told they still couldnt book it as no referral, passed on information given by GPs receptionist and the call handler point blank refused to contact my GP, saying I had to do it. Asked to speak to someone to complain which I was passed on to another gentleman who then told me my details had been passed on but no referral letter with it so he would contact my GPs surgery. Received a call from my GP to say this had now been rectified and to expect a call, this never happened. As I'm writing this I'm still trying to contact them and have no option to leave a voicemail as their inbox is full. Extremely poor service and I honestly cant believe our surgeries are using this company. Would not recommend at all
Rang me up and tried to book me in for an appointment I couldn't make because I was out of the city that day, agreed a different date, didn't get an appointment letter to confirm but booked the day off work, fasted and drank water as advised then turned up to be told I was supposed to attend on the original date and had missed my appointment. They eventually did the scan anyway but didn't even introduce themselves and generally made the whole experience unpleasant. No idea whether they've even done the right scan in the end and whilst the man was telling me the results would be ready in a week the woman behind him spoke over him and said 10 days, I've no idea what else he said because it's hard to understand two people at once.
I had my first appointment cancelled the day before. Second appointment cancelled two hours after receiving a text to remind me of my appointment. Impossible to contact by phone. I was given a third appointment miles away and turned it down, then got a text reminding me of the appointment! Spent ages on phone to tell them that I was not going to attend then got a reminder by post for the appointment that I never accepted. These people are a waste of NHS resources, time and patience.
