Very horrible and rude receptionists - extremely patronising when booking appointments. You'll wait 30 minutes to an hour for an appointment only to be told there isn't any left for the day and we should have known due to their answering machine message stating this (I did not try to argue, they just plain rudely stated this before me saying anything at all). Their answering machine message does not state this when you join the queue early and the appointments get booked up whilst you're still in the queue so I don't understand how the receptionists can be so extremely rude about this. No empathy nor compassion for their patients. Absolutely appalling customer service.

We are shortly due to move out of the area so will be changing GPβs. We just wanted to say thank you to you all at the surgery for the service you have always provided. Youβve always provided us with an appointment & also worked them around our work commitments. Good luck to you all in the future & thanks again Louise & Steve.

Awful experience. Taken me off the database because Iβve moved from the area, even though I work 5 minutes away. I expressed that I would struggle changing gps because of underlying issues and they didnβt show any empathy. I expressed that my dentist etc were still in Manchester, as I am physically unavailable through the week to attend any appointments, working 6am until 8pm Monday to Friday. I stated that Iβd had an ongoing condition, knew what it was but they had to test me. The first test they lost, the 2nd test they tested for the incorrect issue, the third they said I didnβt have what I thought. When I was referred to a specialist they confirmed on the day (within minutes of being tested) that I did in fact have what I initially thought! My family member used a doctor here when she was extremely depressed. When they asked what was wrong with her, she expressed that she didnβt know, to which they replied, βwell if you donβt know how am I supposed to know.β For someone who was vulnerable at the time, that isnβt what youβd expect to be said from a health care professional. I believe if she wasnβt as strong as she was, just may have tried something unthinkable. When I sent a letter of complaint nothing was done. The doctors name is Dr Hoddes! They misdiagnose people, give them antibiotics or painkillers and they end up dying of cancer. Avoid at all costs!!!

If you want to die, not get referred or seen, visit this GP surgery!!! A family member visited this surgery on several occasions with stomach pains and weight loss. This GP surgery fobbed her off with painkillers and antibiotics. My relative collapsed at home, ended up in hospital via ambulance requiring 4 units of blood because of a burst ulcer. Another family member has had chest issues, she's been wheezing for months and the GP only prescribed her with antibiotics over and over again. No referral to find out what's happening. A friend is suffering from chronic pain in her leg due to having surgery. All they have prescribed her is co-codamol. She needs something stronger but can't get an appointment. The staff here are also rude. They have no compassion, come across as patronising and have no respect, especially the reception staff. As some have mentioned the staff are good, it makes me wonder if this GP surgery has it's prejudices. The only good respectable doctor they had was Dr Beresford and he retired. This surgery needs closing down. If I could give a zero star rating, I would.

It's been pathetic with long waiting times. The appointment for my husband which was given 2 months , when we first ask for appointment , still had a long waiting time. Why don't the doctors value the time of patients? They just make the patients wait for no reason stating that the doctor is seeing other patients. I want to mention that why the people on reception also have to lie about it, though the truth is other way round. Pls help to protect patient's time, it is also precious like doctors have because they are also working and have their own commitments of timings. I waited for almost more than an hour , forgot to mention, it was not walk in. But a pre booked GP appointment.

knowledge, access to patients a total disaster!! Three months ago, my wife came with severe back pain, she asked for a blood test... The GP declared that it was not necessary, that he could see it!! Does he have CT eyes instead? She was given tablets for pain ........ the result today after three months and finally after a blood test ... the wife has cancer and these GP these google doctors robbed her of 3 months of her life !!! You will go to court and plead guilty to negligent care!!! Don't do a job if you don't understand it.....12.03. 2023 my dear wife died...stop call own self doctor!!

Terrible careless attitude towards patients the reception staff are great but the practise staff are not .. Dr Basir Sarwari just looks at you like he cannot be bothered, tried to book appointment takes 3-4 weeks, spending 1 hour waiting for a phone to be picked up so I can book appointments , so clearly behind with himself and not taking patients seriously enough , should not be A G.P if you dont have the drive and care to help people after all it is the NHS so should expect better , Not recommended a asthma check up, given wrong medication which is out of date, not weighed , so I have referred myself to a better more efficient G.p surgery and after my 1st visit very happy all my issues dealt with and a example of how it should be done . Suppose that's what you get when you go to places like gorton. Avoid

Absolutely brilliant with patient respect and dignity. I love the therapeutic relationship I have developed with Doctor Hoddes, who I find to be supportive and no matter the questions and always got back in touch with me. He has always gave me truthful and honest answers which in return prompted me to self reflect on my daily habits and change them. Thank you doctor Hoddes
