This is by far the worst dental clinic I’ve ever dealt with! For over a year, I’ve been trying to get an appointment for my kids with no success. Every time they give me an appointment, it’s months away—then right before the date, they call to cancel it without any explanation and tell me to book a new one. They’ve canceled my children’s appointments twice now, for no reason. We’ve been trying for over two years to get a proper appointment, and when we finally get one, they cancel it again. The staff are rude and unprofessional. I truly believe this is the worst dental clinic in history. I absolutely do not recommend it!

Pleasant female Asian doctor. Said she would refer me to a doctor to have monthly injections. I never heard anything else from that day. Been 3 months and no referral made

Although I was seen quite quickly for my appointment yesterday, I was met with what I can only describe as one of the rudest doctors I have ever encountered. I attended with an extremely sensitive issue that has caused me significant distress over the past six + months, and after waiting a long time for this appointment, I had hoped to finally speak to someone who would listen and provide a diagnosis. Instead, the entire appointment lasted no more than three minutes, rushed from start to finish, with the doctor repeatedly insisting that there was nothing wrong with me. Each time I tried to explain my symptoms, I was abruptly cut off and spoken over. The problem I am experiencing is clearly visible, and it has led to some of the lowest points in my life, even resulting in the loss of my job. To then be completely dismissed—without any form of diagnosis or proper discussion—was deeply upsetting. What truly shook me, however, was the complete lack of care or sensitivity during the examination. I was told to stand in front of the doctor, with an assistant looking on, and instead of being given any privacy or the usual process of preparing behind a curtain, I was simply ordered to drop my clothing in front of them. I was then made to physically part areas of my body with my hands while they observed. This felt incredibly unprofessional and dehumanising. At the end of the experience, I was quickly ushered out of the room and bluntly told that if they do not hear from me within six months, my case will be closed. I left the practice physically shaking, and I can confidently say that I hope my issue resolves itself—because there is absolutely no way I would ever return to this practice. The entire experience was utterly appalling.

I attended minor surgery in Dermatology dept today 25/1/25 and despite the minor procedure on my face the staff made it easy for me. They were friendly, professional and put me entirely at ease. I left with clear instructions. Thank you

Ancoats Primary Care Centre is a GP practice that shares a building with New Islington GP practice, which can be a bit confusing at times.
