The staff are lovely but there doesn't seem to be any doctors. When you finally get to see them. One of the regular locums is very helpful but the other is dreadful.

I’ve been really disappointed with my overall experience at this surgery. In my personal experience, getting in touch with them has been extremely difficult phone calls often go unanswered, and it’s nearly impossible to secure an appointment.

Dr Grocock saw my mother and acted quickly and conscientiously with a lovely caring manner. The receptionists are very efficient and friendly especially a lady called Margaret. I would highly recommend this surgery. Thank you

Extremely rude male receptionist who refused to put me through to a manager to complain about his poor customer service. One of the female GP’s also extremely rude, She made a judgemental comment and shook her head at me for following the advice of 111 and making a GP appointment. Only just registered with this surgery and have had a terrible experience so far.

I am super impressed by how the service has improved at this Practice. Whoever used to work there with a really negative attitude is no longer there and I have been dealing with Hailey from front desk/admin team and she has been extremely helpful for a while now. Also, Dr Aksa, is an absolute gem. Super gentle and understanding. There are other doctors at the practice that do not have the same attitude unfortunately, but I am very relieved to have been handled by such a humane and amazing GP.

My wife is a patient here. Always have problems. The most arrogant obstructive receptionists Absolutely terrible attitude. If I could give it a minus score I would Further news. Yesterday my wife who is a long standing patient went into the corner stone to seek help and advice. Her face had swollen up and her right eye was fully closed. She asked the receptionist (I use the term loosely) if there was any chance of an emergency appointment. So called receptionist told my wife to go to a pharmacy or A and E. This resulted in 5 hours at MCR eye hospital (who were brilliant) which should not have been the case. A quick check by the GP would have been far easier and put less stress on A and E and also on my wife who was extremely upset by the lack of care from the staff at Cornerstone. It truly is a dreadful practice.

Mandy on reception is the most rude and obnoxious person. Makes you feel uneasy and says she can “get things prescribed” without booking you in to see a doctor. Somebody else would love her job and would actually be nice to patients.

Not really a criticism of the Cornerstone, but rather the ridiculous effort that is required just to book a blood test at the Manchester Trust org. I spent nearly 30 minutes in a telephone queue. When I finally got through the lady maybe accidentally transferred my call to another irrelevant of phone options. So I was stuck and didn't get chance to book my blood test. The NHS is the worst, so incompetent, so careless, so wasteful. No-one has been stupid enough to emulate it, we have been stupid enough to put up with it for so long, it neither protects the interests of staff or patients.

Recently changed from Florence House to Cornerstone and can't recommend it enough. The GPs are very listening and accommodating and take the wishes of the parents into account. Dr A Khan and Dr lava have been very helpful with the diagnosis of my daughter.
