   I had some issues the main dealer were asking way too much money for. My friend recommended me to Mr Mechanic and he has been great. He was transparent and quick to diagnose and fix my car for a fraction of the cost of a main dealer. My wife decided to do her service and a few repairs with Chris too and he again was quick and transparent with his quote and got the work done quickly for us. Thanks Chris and team.

   Chris is the best ever. Anything my car needs Chris does it. Anything im paranoid about he checks it. Trust me on this, you will not find a gem like our Chris he is certainly 1 of a kind. I have so much respect for him and the work he does. Absolutely 10 out of 10 I can't fault his work 1 bit. I hope this review helps as he deserves all the work and custom coming his way.    Rude and disgusting behaviour from a foul mouth mechanic called Sid. Showed zero interest in what I was saying and only wanted to fool around with his blonde mate. Like children. Wanted to charge more than had been agreed.

   Used Chris for major engine work on a van. Absolutely appalling ability, had to take it elsewhere to get rectified as he hadn't got a clue what he was doing. He did agree to have another look at it and fit a reconditioned engine but in the meantime the whole thing caught fire due to his electrical faults and it went up in smoke. £15k vehicle completely destroyed and he's now refusing to pay up. Do not use him.

   Booked in to have DPF work carried out. Car came back after a day with them and I've had issues ever since. Car now smokes heavily on startup and has a persistent smell of fumes in the car. In total car had been back in for 4 and a half days after I complained (in fairness I was charged a total of £40 for this time) but now I know why. Car has had none of the work done they told me they had done to rectify this issue. I informed them my exhaust had been damaged at the flexipipe and that is what is causing the fumes, they took it in, told me there was no issue with the flexipipe and that in fact it was a gasket (at one stage prior to this they had told me all gaskets had been checked) so they apparently carried out a repair, the car still stinks of fumes permenantly. Been told they put an additional egr blank plate in, that has not been done either. So basically they had my car for an extra 4 and a half days and nothing has changed. Wish I'd never had the work done there, nothing but issues since and I'm left with a car that needs repair elsewhere and I'm now £280 out of pocket for the pleasure. The only thing I did get from this garage was 2 tools left in my bonnet on separate occasions. Would never use this garage again. Honestly fuming with what's happened and considering taking action to regain the money I've paid for nothing.

   Edit: Very suspicious reviews that there is none in over a month then the day the business owner see's and responds to my review there is four 5 star reviews so that my review is cleared from the recent reviews. Business owner is disputing my review even though I have a picture of him not responding to me uploaded as part of this review. Original Review: Booked in my car for repair, they said they had to reschedule for another day. They never turned up to do the repairs and wouldn't answer the phone, tried calling 10 times throughout the day and sent 4 messages, all unanswered.

   I wouldnt use them have to chase them like babies. Took Seat with dsg fault , first told me to bring it down when took the car by recovery down they change their words to say we don't do Dsg gearbox as had bad experience. Iveco Truck, make me ordered wrong part and couldn't return the part back. and after changing the part still same problem eventually paid them and i was told they only charged me for smoke test, no smoke test was conducted. Micra Electric issue , just checked relays within 20 minutes and made 2 hours of job sheet , and couldn't fix the car so had to recover again. Meriva, Very cheap remapp never use them always will have with their remap and when go to complain they will use it against you to say its fault with your car. Citreon C3 , called me to say car is ready and without looking at the car or inspection i paid in full, and when test drove it same problem and same issue . told them to delete egr and remap it and after remap still the same issue. i told them i will take the car for map inspection removed the remap and no refund at all, and was very rude and aggressive. I had to chase them everytime for weeks for each car. while they answer call they hang on you i had enough and recovered all my cars from them. Don't bother wasting your time. i have never had such bad experience within 15 years of my trade as i did with them.
