   Myself and my daughter we had a really good experience with the dentist yousaf and nurse Jas very helpful. They both calmed me down as I was having anxiety. Both are very professional in their work. I’m looking forward to seeing them again in three months time.

   This practice is absolutely lovely. I brought my mum to see Dr. Sobia, who was very reassuring and explained everything clearly. The nurse Lily, was extremely professional and made sure my mum felt comfortable throughout. I was very pleased while sitting in the room, as this is exactly the level of care we hope for as patients. My mum was very happy, and her treatment was excellent. Dr. Sobia took the time to explain every step in detail. The reception team were friendly, polite, and engaging with both me and my mum. They also explained the private services available. I spoke to the practice manager about Denplan, and she was brilliant, very knowledgeable, helpful, and explained how we could save money. I would 100% recommend this practice to everyone. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my mum. I will rethink of joining your practice too.

   Maria the hygienist was excellent . I am a very nervous patient. She used gel and hand tools to do my scale and polish and ensured it was a painless experience. Saskiah the nurse was friendly and reassuring also. I won't be scared at all for my next appointment .

   After not being to the dentist for 8-10 years I had a major filling collapse and fall out leaving only half a tooth, I looked around the area at dental practices and mainly there reviews. I found this too be the best NHS provider. I called on a Monday and was seen the very next morning as an emergency case. The receptionist was stop on, polite and very helpful. After my successful appointment with Yousaf for my treatment i was very impressed and happy. I needed a further 2 tooth repairs as fillings had come out too. I was booked in on the following Tuesday and was seen by the same nurse Yousaf. Again all went great, he was polite, courtesy and always reassuring me. I was told I would need a scale and polish and I got booked in for the next Saturday. I’ve realised the importance of maintaining my teeth again and will from on go regularly making sure it’s no more than 6 months between sessions for check ups and scale and polishes. Yousaf and the team were helpful from the start to finish and I can’t thank them enough for treating me. I would highly recommend Shirley dental care. I will definitely be using this place from now on and into the future. Thanks

   The worst dentist surgery I have ever been too, the reception staff are rude and and massively unprofessional. The dentist I saw was incredibly negligent, proposed a root canal on a tooth that didn’t require it. Impossible to get appointments and when you do get one they leave you waiting an hour after your appointment time has started and then do not undertake or complete any work. I would avoid at all costs, go to literally any other dentists surgery if you have to because this is the worst surgery I have ever experienced.

   Turned up for appointment to be told it had been cancelled and I had apparently been notified by post. I had not received this notification and bearing in mind there are ongoing postal strikes nobody thought to follow the letter up with a phone call, so a wasted journey! The Receptionist said most people hadn't received the letters...really, how surprising!!! Telephone is never answered just rings out constantly, no point leaving voicemail as nobody returns your call either! I couldn't post this review unless I gave at least one star, otherwise they wouldn't get anything.

   I have been a patient at this dentist for over 10 years and I have never had a bad experience. I am also a patient that has to regularly attend the practice and all reception staff, dentists and especially Bharti are brilliant. I have never had an issue with getting an appointment for routine checks or emergencies. What I will say is that - I have seen these staff members be spoken to disgustingly by patients. They do not have to tolerate such rudeness. If you treat people with respect, they are much more likely to go out of their way to help you. If you treat them with disrespect, you deserve it back.

   After trying and failing to get through the the desk for an appointment this dentist offer a voice mail service to leave your name and phone number and someone will contact you when they become available. Unfortunately this was not the case and I ended up in hospital with Sepsis. When I eventually got through to the desk a few days after I returned from hospital the receptionist thought it would be a good idea to tell me that the messages are not listened to which unfortunately for them lead to client negligence. The staff were abrupt and rude when I asked about the complaint procedure and neglected to give me any guidance. It’s safe to say I am moving to another dentist.
