I’ve taken both my dad and my grandfather previously for appointments, and every single visit has been exceptional from start to finish. From the moment you walk in, the front of house team are warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. They make you feel at ease instantly, and nothing is ever too much trouble.    We had an amazing experience at Maypole! They were absolutely fantastic with my kids — patient, friendly, and really made them feel comfortable from the moment we walked in. The whole team is excellent: efficient, welcoming, and clearly very good at what they do. A special shout-out to Sindy, who was brilliant throughout.    After our previous dentist suddenly going private, rang Maypole dentist and they took us on without hesitation. Fabulous service, found work my previous dentist hadn't done and sorted us out. Really friendly and efficient. Couldn't recommend them enough.

   I have been attending the practice for many years now. Sindy is a lovely lady, always helpful and welcoming. I strongly disagree with the previous review regarding the hygienist appointments. I believe this patient may have misunderstood the practice policy. I have seen the hygienist many times, she also is very polite and looks after me. An assessment has to be done before being booked in with hygienist. As this will determine whether a longer appointment is required, or just a standard appointment. Which i really appreciate as I have more knowledge of what to expect and how the treatment will be carried out. It is a great practice and my whole family and friends attend here and never ever had any issues.

   Called to book a service at the practice. Spoke to Sindy yesterday who gave me a Swift app, called again today to cancel and rebook as a scale and polish. Was informed by Sindy that it is not possible to have a scale and polish without a check up done in the past 12 months as you need a prescription for it. As a private patient since calling around this is not the policy in any other surgery. Was treated with contempt, had strange accusations made and was spoken to disgustingly. Was confused about the accusations which came down to the fact I had the wrong practice webpage open with price list that share a similar name. Even if I was looking at a diff practice for another service I would be entitled to pay for any service I like any any place I like. Spoke to practice manager who confirmed this is the policy. Cannot find this policy anywhere on the website. Very strange experience. Looking forward to my scale and polish tomorrow in a local dental surgery with perfect customer service. This cannot be put down to a bad day for receptionist- have met before as a patient and Sindy is intimidating character.
