Doug Jones is truly brilliant! He intuitively knows how to tackle your pain and recovery. I had a complex spinal surgery and Doug came highly recommended to help me post surgery, I can highly recommend him you will be in the safest hands!
Stuart was recommended to us to look at my 15 year old daughter. Straight away he put my daughter at ease and was very professional. Very thorough and ensured we understood his findings. He is obviously very focused and passionate about what he does. For the first time in such a long time I think we have finally found someone that can help!!! 100% recommend
I’ve had one sesh with Doug, and I have to say I’m totally motivated by his optimism for my damaged femur and knee. He’s given me some excellent exercises to do, and also advised on some home equipment to buy to help even more. He’s lifted my spirits and given me light at the end of a pretty dark tunnel. Fabulous! The best. After 3/4 months trying other physio's and specialists and getting no where, Doug found the root cause of my knee injury in 1 session. After 3 sessions and some home work, I'm back to exercising. Used Altius post my ankle reconstruction 6 years ago, needing both Doug and Stuart's expertise and they were first class in getting me back to where I wanted to be. Not sure why I didn't come back sooner - thanks guys.
I want to say thank you to Doug for a fantastic recovery for me and I couldn’t recommend Doug and the Altius team enough. I had what originally was seen as a groin injury by the original physio I went to that I got playing football. I ended up at 2 different physio organisations that weren’t Altius, went through 6-8 week groin recovery treatment both times but the issue didn’t go away either time. I went to Doug and Altius and it turned out I had a torn adductor and also a double hernia. Doug put a plan to put a focus on repairing the adductor first, then have surgery on the hernias followed by physio recovery of the hernias surgery. The recovery program was very focussed on building things up, not pushing past where things were ready and ultimately rebuilding strength, flexibility at the right pace. I went from thinking I was probably never going to play football again at times during the injury recovery to now having been back playing for 4 months and have no limitations around mobility and feel great playing again. Very professional, clear on the recovery processes and confident that things would get back to normal after time which helped with my belief about getting back playing again. L

Have had a great experience, tailoring my recovery plan to suit both my sporting activity and realities of working life. My physio had excellent knowledge and experience of my particular injury and got be back to sport far quicker than I had expected, keeping me motivated along the way.
I would have given more stars if that was possible! I received superb treatment from Dafydd Rees today. I was in acute pain and had already seen another physio yesterday which didn't help. Dafydd very quickly understood the issue and the treatment he gave me was like magic. I am a lot better now (and that is only after one session!) Thanks a lot Dafydd! It is because of you that I will be able to travel comfortably tomorrow!
