I put in a complaint about a GP at this practice at the end of September 2025. Never got an acknowledgement nor a response. Either the practice manager is too busy dealing with vast multitudes of complaints, or the practice has reverted to their inadequate measures performance levels that the CQC identified in 2022. Practice manager wasn't dealing with complaints then either. I tried to get an appointment to see a GP last week but was diagnosed by the receptionist and apparently didn't need an appointment. I ended up in A&E.

I came in today to see Susan Sharratt and what a lovely lady she is. She is patient and very easy to talk to. I have seen her a few times in the last 2 months with an issue which she has now got under control. I am extremely grateful for what she has done. After numerous test on my well being I had to attend the surgery today October 10th. This surgery has a self check in screen which takes less than a minute and gives you instructions which wait area to go to.Minutes passed when I was called in by Doc Rhodes and received his customer hand shake and polite questions on my well being and the family getting me to relax. I must of been with for over 10 to 15 minutes discussing my results and how I should proceed forward. He was very thorough having a few laughs now and then. I must say he was very sincere and compassionate explaining what he thought and if I agreed with what he was saying. I took on board what he was saying as he was correct about my condition. His manners are impeccable as always telling me if I need to talk his door is always open. I left feeling I know what I have to do thanks to him. Those 10 to 15 minutes made me feel like a great weight had been lifted of my shoulders and loading my mind with positivity. Thank you Dr Rhodes your a great man

Iβve always had a great experience at Monton Medical. Iβve been seen by ANP Susan (Sue) three times and always found her friendly, knowledgable and reassuring. Iβve also had great experiences with the other nursing staff. Usually get seen quickly on pre-booked appointments as well!

If it were not for the quick actions of the diabetic's nurse Kate I would not be here to write this right now. The speed in which I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and the care I have received from the surgery staff was simply amazing and I can not thank them enough for the treatment I have received, a well deserved 5 stars.

Behind in so many ways, in terms of technology (canβt email test results but they will print and I can collect?) most people have work/life commitments and cannot just go into the surgery to collect something that could easily be emailed or added to the online hub. Diagnosing issues; again not interested in the root cause of the problem and overall health, but only help in masking symptoms and prescribing pharmaceuticals.

Unbelievably poor service. Lost a set of blood tests, did not process three referrals when they said they would, cancelled my appointment and rescheduled it with someone that couldnβt then help me- even after me taking time off work to make the new appointment time and checking with them before hand to ensure that the new doctor would definitely be able to complete the procedure.Turned up for another blood test and they had no record of my appointment. To top it all off, spoke to the practice manager who assured me he would help and unfortunately Iβm still waiting for him to call me back over two weeks later even though I have been into the surgery once and phoned (and been left on hold for 35/40 mins on three separate occasions) to ask him to call me. This surgery is beyond negligent and I really would avoid if you are concerned about your health as you will not get the care you need. I have always had such positive experiences with my doctors and having moved to the area, itβs so sad that they do not take what they are doing seriously, when it could have a serious affect on someoneβs health. The emotional stress they have caused has been significant.

Recently had two appointments with Dr Rhodes after having a baby, he was brilliant and took the time to listen and put us at ease. Only issue I have with the doctors are the reception staff, who often when called are unable to answer even basic questions and I have spent over 30mins trying to get through to them on a number of occasions.

I've just attended Monton Medical Centre and I really can't praise them enough. The reception staff were efficient, and the GP was extremely thorough, taking the time to listen to my concerns. He did a complete prescription review, arranged blood samples, did a blood pressure test and referred me for X-rays. Absolutely first rate service and I would not want to be treated anywhere else.
