   I’ve been seeing Umae for a few years now, and she is the best dentist I’ve ever had. She’s completely transformed my smile, and with it, my confidence. Her warm and welcoming manner makes every visit feel personal—she always remembers who I am and takes a genuine interest in my care. Umae is also incredibly proactive. After years of struggling with teeth grinding and the damage it caused, she recommended Masseter Botox—a treatment I’d never considered but which has completely resolved the issue. It’s been life-changing, and I’m so grateful for her expertise and forward-thinking approach. The whole practice is fantastic. The receptionists and dental nurses are always friendly and professional, and Stracey, the hygienist, has been instrumental in improving my oral hygiene - she’s changed the way I care for my teeth. As an NHS patient, I feel I receive the same high standard of care as any private patient. This is truly an excellent dental practice.

   I needed a very old filling removed and replaced with a crown. I don't mind visiting the dentist at all and Umae has always been fantastic but as it's been a long time since I needed such a lengthy procedure I was a little apprehensive when my appointment came around. I needn't have worried at all as having told Umae how I was feeling she went out of her way to reassure me and put me at ease. My first appointment did indeed turn out to be a long one and afterwards I typed some words into my phone so I wouldn't forget how Umae and the staff had looked after me during my visit. The words I wrote were: skilled, professional, kind, calm, patient and reassuring. When my treatment had been completed I went on to use the Boutique whitening system. As my teeth were towards the 'dark' end of the scale this took both patience and perseverance over several months. During this time Umae was, as always, kind and helpful and so encouraging of my efforts. I now have a much brighter smile and am so pleased that I used the whitening system. Umae is an excellent dentist and all the staff I have encountered at the practise (Izzy, Victoria and Julie) are warm, welcoming and professional. Many thanks to everyone for looking after me!

   I had been referred to Damien due to an abscess and infection in my front tooth and he has been absolutely amazing throughout my root canal treatment and dental surgery to remove the abscess. He immediately put my nerves at ease and I would recommend this practice to anyone. I would also like to that the reception staff for being so welcoming and kind.

   I saw the hygienist for a bargain price of £50 and must have been with her for over 40 minutes. As ever she provided a wonderful service, was kind, helpful, cheerful and very attentive - best hygienist I've ever been to in fact, and I've been to quite a few. On the same day I took my dog to the vets to see about his teeth and spent 5 minutes with the vets and he's had no treatment yet and it cost me more than £50! So, Barnt Green Dental Practice is incredible value for money, the service is excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

   My husband and I joined the practice over 3 years ago and have received nothing but the very best treatment and care from Nicola, Damian and Stracy. Having just finished 2 weeks of treatment that involved a fair few hours in Nicola's chair, I can safely say that I will never be going anywhere else.    Barnt Green Dental Practice is a modern, comprehensively equipped practice which is very well staffed with friendly, capable and caring people - it is a pleasure to write a review on their behalf - I cannot recommend them highly enough! I am looked after by Nicola Kavanagh - she is extremely thorough and takes an interest in every aspect of oral care - several suggestions for improvements which have really improved my overall dental health and I am very grateful to her. She explains everything that she does and why she is doing it - very impressive indeed. The administration behind the practice is also up to the minute and comprehensive - all appointments are confirmed by email, with prompts for the completion of pre-appointment documentation, and the week before the appointment, emails and texts are sent to fully make sure that the appointment is firmly in the diary! The Practice is everything that you could wish for and it is a pleasure to write in this vein. Many thanks.
