   I take my four year old granddaughter to Dr Patel, she loves her appointments, the staff welcome her, she is really familiar with the process and is not at all anxious. This surgery has given her the best possible start to having good dental health, and they have great stickers - or so I am told.

   We’ve had multiple cancellations from Kings Heath Dental & Implant Centre since August 2023 for my son’s appointments. Today (28 October 2025), the appointment was cancelled last minute by text message at 9am— we already arrived at the practice for theappointment 9am. The receptionist was not caring and simply brushed us off. Very disappointing experience and poor management. I hope they improve their communication and reliability, especially for families who needs to work and not easy to get a day-off for constant cancellations.

   They cancelled on me last minute multiple times, by text message. Then had to wait forever in a phone queue, only to be told there is no availability, you have to wait another 2-3 months for the next appointment. Which is then cancelled same day… very poor.

   It was nice experience to have general checking with Doctor Usman Azhar,she explained everything clearly to me and my son,all the staffs were nice and polite,the other good thing is I can book the appointment on the internet easily.

   Receptionist was rude,i only asked if they were taking nhs patients at the moment and she went,”no only private patients”,so i then said do you know when you’ll be having any nhs patients again?,she went,”i don’t know” and put the phone down on me,so rude,i could rate 0 i would,awful,i don’t know how they get their jobs! Will not recommend this dentist to anyone!

   Waited 6 weeks for an appointment. Cancels at the last minute. No regard for the patients circumstances. It’s a dentist surgery with no dentists in for the whole day. Offered to rebook in 2 months time. A sham of a dentist practise and customer service. PLEASE do not waste your time giving them your details. They are money grabbers and lie when they say they treat NHS patients.

   Two crowns had to be removed due to to one tooth being unable to take the crown as it was badly broken and the second not being good enough to take a bridge . Dr Chohan was absolutely Brilliant, he listened, understood and made the experience a lot better than expected. There are no more gaps and i am able to talk and smile again without being concerned. It was a very good investment all round. The advice i would give is don,t even think about it, the benefits far out-way the time, money and discomfort.
