   Good afternoon. We were 10 minutes late today with the kids and they didn't see us. I wrote a letter explaining our lateness and asking for an accommodation. We were traveling from Worcester to Redditch. I'm extremely upset about the situation. The dentist was available and could see us. I explained the situation. Free Children's Dentistry is dismal not only for its work but also for its attitude.

   I’ve been to see this dentists a few times I did have 5 star treatment when I was getting my teeth whitened. However today I tried to make an appointment for my elderly 70 year old mother who’s in agony and the reception staff ( two young girls) have put the phone down on me three times.

   Only been a few times and their care was good, always came across pleasant staff while working there. Unfortunately a negative review overall following a PCN charge from the lands private parking company. I have had to change dentist out of principle - it is a free one hour pay and display car park but their machines are not reliable and if you do not put your full license plate on the ticket (the machine doesn't allow you to) you will be slammed with a fine, even after appealing it with proof of the physical ticket. I appreciate the staff refunding my deposit (booked for an appointment in advance) but I feel the parking situation should be a better experience for customers.

   Went today for a tooth extraction, had the best experience ever .Michelle put me at ease as I was extremely nervous, as the last time I’d had extractions it was my wisdoms at the Alex and that wasn’t a good experience. I didn’t even feel the local anaesthetic being injected , it was all over in minutes . Then later on she gave my daughter her check up and my daughter has special needs and is very frightened of the chair but again Michelle was very comforting and made it a good experience for my daughter . She’s a credit to Redhouse :)

   Booked an appointment specifically to enquire about the quick straight teeth system, arrived for my appointment only to find out that they had put me down for a general check up and and then informed me that i would need to book a private consultation, total waste of time, never again!

   The female dentist upstairs is fantastic. From normal check ups to root canal treatments this lady is phenomenal. Great with nervous kids, as well as adult patients. She can provide a thorough treatment plan that is explained clearly to the patient. Truly a credit to the team. Ladies at the reception are always friendly and polite too!

   I took my 6 year daughter with abscess issue, Dentist recommended for extraction of tooth and told me there are 2 options to get tooth extracted either in her Clinic to which she says she will not like it or else in hospital under anesthesia but for that there is 1 year waiting list. I told Dr that you can send ref form to the hospital meanwhile I will see if I can make her mind ready for extraction in clinic. She asked me to send picture of her dental abscess. I emailed to the dr and asked her to confirmed if she has received. She replied reception area will confirm and will send referral. 2 weeks passed and my daughter dental abscess didn't heal neither I got any letter for her hospital appointment. I booked another appointment to for her to get her tooth extracted. Upon arrival dentist didn't even greeted us and said is she ready ti take her tooth out. And said to my daughter I am gonna give you 2 injections that will pain and then I will pull your tooth out. My daughter is generally really brave and I was making her mind ready for this extraction but the way Dentist told her without even a smile or friendly tone, it made her jump out of the chair with fear. And dentist took her gloves off and saying she isn't ready, she will not cooperate. I asked the about the referral form for which she started looking in her system and said it will take 1 year to get appointment I said I understand but is it already sent to the hospital? And she said no because I never received a picture. I was bit disappointed as dental abscess is a dental emergency and referral is not being sent to the hospital from last 2 week ? Upon which she said YOUR DAUGHTER IS NOT GONNA DIE WITH THIS. I can understand she wanted me to less worried about it, using such language and words in front of 6 years old ? Her overall attitude was very rude, even when I was asking her why the form was never sent she showed me her back and didn't gave me any answer. At the end she filled up a referral forms and took my signatures. I tried to speak to the manager but in vein as he was on leave. I am very upset today with this whole situation that I had to face.
