   Hannah was extremely helpful and efficient when looking after both my daughter and father. She treated them with respect, putting them at ease and answering any questions they had.    A lovely dental practice - friendly, efficient, good value. Dr Sembi is professional yet approachable and warm (and great with young children too). I’ve been going here for several years and, despite moving slightly further away, I still prefer to return to this practice. Highly recommended.

   Just had a really excellent appt with the hygienist. While I’ve had six monthly dental checks I hadn’t gone for a deep clean in nearly two years, eeek, so I had a lot of build up. I expected it would hurt a lot but this was probably the least painful deep clean I’ve ever had! The hygienist has a friendly calm manner that I’m sure would be very reassuring if you’re nervous too.

   I had a great experience at Portland Dental Practice! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and they made me feel completely at ease. I came in for a hygiene cleaning, and they did an excellent job—thorough, gentle, and professional throughout. My teeth feel so much cleaner, and I really appreciated how they explained everything clearly. Highly recommend them if you're looking for quality dental care with a kind and professional team!

   Since Mr Segaloff retired, this practice has gone from bad to worse! The new dentist is great but the receptionists are so thick! They find it hard to understand emails and plain English! They are rude (Shelly)! It’s like she’s constantly stressed out and imposes that stress onto patients! They just don’t know how to communicate effectively with the public! Such a shame because Mr Segaloff was amazing!

   I have always been terrified of the dentist, and put up with toothache for years because I'd rather have gone through with the pain now and again than the thought of someone with their hands in my mouth, it just terrified me. Then a very good friend of mine who's father is a very educated proffesional man, recommended Dr Segalof, swearing his father would only go to Dr Segalof and he knew alot of Dentists. He wasn't wrong. The best Dentist ever, made me feel calm within seconds. No pain no messing about. As professional as can be. And now I dont fear the Dentist... I'd still rather not but now atleast, I will.

   I found this practice to be brilliant. Been to several other practices over my 52yrs and Josh my dentist is as good as any other I have ever come across. He listens and takes time to explain what is, what was and what needs to be done. I have read other reviews stating that the practice extends treatments that are not warranted, but I disagree. I have been to other surgeries, but none compare to Portland Surgery. It's easy to say " I want this doing ,, I want that doing " and expecting said work to be done. but I found Josh took time to show me my X-rays and explain what the grey areas meant and what can be done, what needs to done and what has to be done. some may say that they have been given appointments that was not warranted but I would rather have one or two extra appointments than to rush and make mistakes and learn a painful lesson later on. So to all nay sayers,,,, i say to you. think about what you have to say and what really has been done.

   Dr Segalov is the best thing "since" sliced bread as my mother would have said. He has in the 30 years I have known him been fair, honest and jolly good at his job. I am a very "uptight" person and he has always calmed me down. I would not go anywhere else. I have travelled there from Derbyshire and also France. The staff are polite and always greet you with a smile. Well Done

   Great experience!! A saw one of the new dentists at the practice - they were very kind and reassuring which put me at ease straight away. The dentist took time to explain everything and show what my xrays etc meant (which I have never had before!). Charming building and a really good location if your near Birmingham city centre.
