Many thanks to Dr Day. It's difficult to get an appointment but Dr Day is brilliant. She was honest and listened. I have had a problem for nearly twelve months and Dr Day examined me and I finally got an answer.. I am so grateful and felt reassured. I really appreciate this Doctors honesty as honesty has always been so important to me
Had a appointment to sort out a minor injury and was told to go to A and E eventhough I told them it was not an emergency. This was advised by Dr Rebekka Holmes and was relayed to me through the receptionist. Neither had any clue where I was meant to go. Utterly disappointing !!

Northenden Surgery has a Life Threatening Booking In System, you can only book in for the day you ring from 8am-8.30, you could be 18th in line, 32nd in line or at 08.05 all the appointments have gone (HOW Can that be possible)? There should only be one booking in system, by phone only, most Pensioners are not computer literate & WHY should there be TWO Systems, it is Wrong. How many Pensioners have passed away because they got fed up of ringing & have no one to help. When people ring up for a appointment they should be able to book for that day, if they are all taken, they should be able to book for the following day or the day after, even the following week, at least they get a appointment they can put down on their calendar. The Surgery provide a address of the Fallowfield walk in centre with number but, what is the waiting time to be seen, at the moment in South Manchester University Hospital/ Wythenshawe Hospital, the waiting time has gone up to (20 Hours). Are doctors surgeries causing these waiting times to rise? It has been said that New younger doctors are only prepared to work 2 or 3 days & leave it to the older doctors who are used to working longer hours. I suggest to everyone, if you can't get a appointment, go to the Surgery and Squat in the waiting room, I did last Friday & there was NO ONE in the Waiting Room at 3.30 but, I seen a doctor for 40 minutes. At 07.45 in the mornings there always seem to be around 6 or more people waiting outside, they are not staff, How did they get a appointment so early? If it was on line then there is a unfair booking in system which adds to the Life Threatening System of booking a appointment. When people complain by letter or e-mail they are suppose to receive a reply to their complaint from the doctor's manager, this does not happen, the CCG & BMA should know about the running of this surgery.
its almost impossible to get an appointment at this surgery from 8am the phones are engaged and then switch to an automated line that cuts you off anter 2 ring's then you have to go through the whole process again. the ask the receptionist form on thier website is off. and you are nearly always advised to call 111/999 no wonder the ambulance service and hospitals are at breaking point
Been my doctors many moons 20 odd years am on my gf phone. it Mr John Donaghey m23 Northern Moor now in Scotland here. Like to thank you all for hard work Dr hindle on my p. I. P and checking up on me thanks. and reception staff who worked so hard for me on my p. I. P . Also doc Debbie williams for looking after family. even though you had over emergency list. Receptionists couldn't be any more unhelpful, rude or awkward if they tried. Most unprofessional NHS establishment I have ever visited. God forbid your child needs a doctor.
