   I took my smart car into Moorcroft Service garage last year because the car wouldn't go more than 10 miles an hour, they looked at it took it for a run with a computer , came back said give it over the weekend and if it’s no better bring it back.Over the weekend I took it around the block and still it wasn't going above 10 mph.So I took it back, they had it for 2 days,in that 2 days I had to rely on public transport to get me to work.That wasn't a problem more of an inconvenience, so I went to pick it up, that's when they told me it was the DPF valve, they told me they didn't have the equipment to solve the problem, and they also told me they were short staff ( sorry Moorcroft but your staffing problems have sod all to do with me!!)However they still charged me £343 pounds for doing bugger all! Now my wife and I have over the years spent a lot of money at that place not just MOTs,so I had to take it to Automotive Solutions at Clifton Moor, they sorted the problem out, even came and picked my car up,the staff were really helpful and really helpful. The bill was £743 but it was worth every penny! I would sincerely recommend them for everything, we now go there for our MOTs and any other problems. So even if it's just a minor problem it DEFINITELY won't be Moorcroft Service!!

   Took my car into Moorcroft this morning as the brakes have been squeaking. I assumed it was the back brakes as it's just had a MOT & Service with a different garage where the front pads and discs were replaced. Moorcroft called me after I'd dropped the car off telling me the back brakes still have loads of life and asked me why I wanted them changing so I explained the squeak. They took the car out to test it and established that the squeak is coming from the new front brakes so to reach out to the garage where I had the previous work done. Moorcroft could have just changed the pads like I asked and charged me for the work. Instead they put me first, offered some sound advice, and didn't charge me a penny! Bravo Moorcroft, Bravo. You've just won yourself a customer who will return again and again, and who will tell everyone else he knows to also make sure they use you!

   Had a problem with perished tyres on a catering trailer purchased nearby. Called ahead, they got tyres in, fitted without fuss or complaint despite being really awkward. Friendly helpful and good value. Would definitely use again if in the area. Thank you

   I drove in without a booking as my car started making an unusual sound from underneath, they took the car straight in and repaired it within 30 minutes, they charged me very little and my car is all fixed. The staff are super friendly and extremely helpful. I would strongly recommend this garage.
