   I called Darren on Monday morning to ask if he could help me with an ignition fault. He put me at ease and said that he believed he knew what the fault was but confirmed that he would come to my house later that day to diagnose the issue and provide a quote for fixing the same. As he suspected during the call, he found the issue immediately and talked me through what the issue was, what had caused it and what he could do to fix it. He even put on a temporary fix which isolated the fault to help me gain back confidence in my car. That evening, he provided me with a quote to come back to my house and complete the repair the next day. He even offered to fix a broken cigarette lighter free of charge. The next day, Darren arrived and completed the repair within an hour. Throughout the whole process, Darren was upfront about costs and showcased a wealth of knowledge in identifying the fault, completing the fix so quickly and, explaining the technical issues in an easy to understand but in-depth way. I seriously could not recommend anyone more than Darren and AA Auto Services if you have any electrical or other issues with your vehicle.

   Darren came out last minute and repaired our car. We’d been on the verge of scrapping it but Darren completely fixed the issue. He explained the issues in plain English and the repair was done quickly and efficiently. Update… the car was not fixed. It seems to have been a temporary fix. Waiting on Darren to come and finish the job

   Darren came to the rescue after the engine management light flashed up. Came out the following day, diagnosed the fault, 2 weeks later the car was in and fixed. He gave the car a good drive and diagnosed my clutch had gone. A week later my car was back in and now feels like a completely new car. Darren is such a personable guy, very fair and super knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend.

   Had Darren help me with an issue on my 2007 Audi S3 (traction light stuck on) he quickly diagnosed the problem at my home address and was more than happy to get the car booked in ASAP, whilst it was with him I asked if he would be able to do the timing belt and water pump to which he was more than happy to do so!! Darren managed to within a week, find me a replacement ABS pump fit and repair everything that needed doing AND the water pump and timing belt replacement. I cannot fault his services one bit, would highly recommend to anyone!!

   Used this service for the first time recently and I was genuinely surprised by Darren's knowledge, attitude and business ethics. I had an issue with the turbo intercooler on my Jaguar XF, which Darren diagnosed very quickly. This could have been a costly repair for me and an easy money earner for Darren. However, he suggested that I make the repair myself. He showed me the location of the part and advised the best way to remove it. He also told me the name of the part and the approximate cost from a Jaguar dealership, which was correct to a couple of £. The only charge made was for the diagnostic workin view of the free advice Darren gave me. I will definitely and this was especially reasonable use him again and recommend him to anyone

   Fantastic service I had a major engine fault and Darren was the only mobile mechanic that actually would look at my car everyone else said I should scrap it.. I don't live the area and I was was visiting when my car died. It was a lot of work and Darren took it on even though he is extremely busy. He kept be updated with everything that was happening and now my car drives perfectly thank you would highly recommend him.

   I rang Darren after a bad experience with another mobile mechanic who kept charging for parts, fitting them and our car was still just as broken. I called Darren and the first thing that struck me was just how knowledgable he was, he knew our model of car and what it probably was. He came to do a diagnostic (he has far better diagnostics than any other garage I have used) diagnosed the fault and booked it in for repair. I was just so happy that we actually knew what the fault was and that the endless guesswork repairs were over. Darren isn’t a cheap mechanic but on the flip side he isn’t overpriced. With all the experience and specialist equipment he has I would rather pay the bit extra to make sure that it’s a quality job. It is our family car and we just wanted it back and fixed, Darren sorted it and couldn’t be happier with the job. The car runs better than it ever has done, it has always been a thirsty car and I thought that was just because it has a big engine, turns out I was wrong because it now literally does double the MPG and has more power, it’s smoother and just a far better car. Darren is a top bloke and the best mechanic I have come across
