Bramhall Health Centre is without doubt an excellent health centre. The waiting times are short and the doctors are always on-point, as too are the nurses and reception staff. BHC have been my primary health care providers for over 11 years, and they have never faultered in their duty and delivery or care. An excellent health centre and team.
My experience of using Bramhall Health center’s online booking system exceeded my expectation. The responses from the GP were quick and adequate. The center support team were attentive, also made time to call me, notifying the text message update from the GP requiring my follow up. This facilitated fast forwarding the referral of my case. A big thank you to the dedication the staff put into the service.
Fortunately I do not need to contact my doctors very often but when I do they have always been able to help me in a timely and efficient manner. I like the online form for reporting health issues and I use the NHS app to order repeat prescriptions, check test results and respond to messages etc. I also manage the NHS app for my mother so I understand the difficulties for old people dealing with the new digital way of working. I have been a patient of the practice for 56 years and feel that I have been well looked after.
I’m very happy with the service I receive from Bramhall Health Centre. I’ve been with them since 1982. After Covid things were not good for a while but I think that applied to all GP practices and I know a lot of people left then. However everything is back on track and both receptionists, nurses, physios and GPs are very helpful and efficient. They were amazing when I desperately needed urgent care. I’m glad I stayed with them and highly recommend. Five stars from me and a big thank you .
Since moving to Bramhall Health Centre I’ve always had great experiences. I’ve managed to be seen promptly, the care has been really thorough and the staff are lovely. I feel confident that they are there for me and I don’t dread having to get through to speak to them like I did with my previous Doctor, plus the online form and call back time is really handy. Donna O’Reilly was absolutely amazing when looking into my symptoms especially as I’ve felt previously fobbed off from Drs at a different practise previously by she really cared and Dr Leach was amazing at making us feel comfortable when my baby was having a check up. Rachel Bailey I think she’s called was also amazing with our babies first jabs! All of the reception staff and everyone we’ve seen are lovely and helpful.
I booked an appointment after several weeks of wait, they booked me an appointment with I think, a locum GP. I am also working in the NHS as a doctor. I missed the call when I was driving from my hospital after a night shift and I got the appointment cancellation message within 2 mins . They did not bother to call me second time . I called them immediately as soon as I got back home and receptionist said they don't have appointment for next 4 weeks. I am a doctor working in the hospital and ideally they should have called second time atleast 10 -20 mins later. But the GP did not bother to call me back .I believe lot of patients would have been affected by this approach. This is not acceptable at all and management has to look into it .
They do not have the time or motivation to provide adequate care. Bramhall health centre is a glorified free clinic. There is a 90% chance that they will not care about you, as they don't have the resources, regardless of how serious your issue may be. DO NOT REGISTER YOUR GP HERE, FIND ANOTHER PRACTICE.
Bramhall Health Centre has always been good but since Covid it’s even better. The waiting room is no longer full of people who don’t really need to be there, the triage system operated by the receptionists works very well and if you need to see a health professional there is never long to wait for an appointment. Finally, I have nothing but praise for the senior nurse who is very knowledgeable and has a lovely friendly manner.
Today I had an appointment with a senior nurse, at the Health Centre, to investigate some serious problems that I have been experiencing following the removal of my gall bladder, last year. She was patient, through and listened attentively to the description of my symptoms. Some further tests need to be carried out and sent of for examination. I am grateful for the time spent by an understanding, patient and experienced nurse.
