   Please note this is my wife's review. I had a gastric sleeve October 2023 with NOSC. This has been life changing for me. I could not have decided on a better company. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. The staff who organised everything were amazing. My surgeon ( who I chose myself from the profiles on the website) was outstanding. I was nervous for my pre-op but soon found I had nothing to worry about. On the day of my surgery I just felt excited. My pain was kept well under control and I don't regret having it don't. My care and treatment has been brilliant all the way through. If you are considering this surgery you won't go wrong with this company.

   I have always been fat. I used to think that I was naturally fat. I was very low emotionally about my weight . Doing anything was a struggle, from bending down to do up my shoes, to getting out of breath just walking up the stairs. My THAT’S ENOUGH moment was in the late summer of 2022 when at a water park I was told that there were not wetsuits in my size – I was devastated and the realisation that I had to change hit me hard! I went home, cried and the opened the laptop and searched Gastric Surgery in the UK! I came across the website for the NOSC. I called and had a chat with Andrew who assured me that I was an ideal candidate for the gastric sleeve. In November 2022 I was a size 24 and weighted in at 17st 11lb! I was booked in for the gastric sleeve and underwent surgery safely here in the UK, in Brentwood, Essex. The surgeon and staff were amazing and the care I received was perfect, and upon my return home, the NOSC support remained outstanding! In February 2024 I settled at a size 10/12 and my weight seems to have settled at 10st 11lb! I HAVE LOST SEVEN STONE! If you don’t believe in the sleeve, you should! It really does work! It’s tough sometimes and mentally I am still occasionally hungry (but that just in my head). Then I look in the mirror and I see a smaller, fitter, healthier and happier woman looking back, and I know I made the right choice, not just for me, but for the whole family! I cannot thank the NOSC team of professionals enough for the care and support I received throughout my weight loss journey with them. If you want my advice, don’t risk travelling abroad. Get all the right care, support and medical attention you need right here in the UK.

   As you know, you have changed my life. I had a great surgeon, he’s quite a big deal as I found out! Aftercare you have to meet the team halfway and make an effort, they can’t make the effort for you. In particular Debbie G has changed the way I live my life and her advice means I’ve got my old self back. She’s supported me every step and taught me so much. Another Debbie has taken me through some great workshops. Also thanks to Chris, she took my initial enquiry and when I wobbled and cancelled she was very patient but also gave me a few things to think about. I’m so happy I rebooked that appointment. Chris recommended the Elipse balloon and her recommendation was spot on, based on my circumstances. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

   I made an enquiry about weight loss procedures with NOSC. I found the Patient Advisors team very knowledgeable and provided information on all the procedures available but ultimately I was told it was my decision. I had spoken to other Clinics who seemed to be more interested in selling than listening to my concerns. The Patient Advisors at NOSC are good listeners and did not try to push me into making a decision. I looked at the testimonials/patient stories and in particular liked the one written by “Mick”. I was offered the opportunity to talk to a patient that had a Gastric Sleeve 12 months ago which was invaluable. I went for a consultation with the surgeon who was going to carry out the procedure. He was very thorough in explaining my options and I also liked the hospital and have decided to go ahead with the Sleeve. Now watch for my story in 12 months time
