Found Gt Service Centre after BMW told me I would have to wait two weeks for an appointment with courtesy car and wouldn't even give a rough idea of the cost (apart from their horrendous hourly rate) even though it was obvious the fuel flap needed replacing. Called Tom who knew straight away what was required and was booked in for while you wait appointment two working days later. Took a bit longer than expected but still charged the price he had quoted over the phone. Quite simply the best experience I have ever had with a garage in 40 years of car ownership. Only a small job but I would recommend to anyone and will be back for any other work required on my 8 series BMW. Honest, friendly and reliable along with hourly rates that don't cause anxiety before you even drop the car off!
It is quite refreshing these days when you find a great, professional and caring, independent garage who do their very best to look after their customers. I am lucky to own a great second car. My hobby, A 2011 Mercedes 200SLK. Having retired recently, on limited income, I feel able to put my trust in Tom and his team. My third visit today. Called on Thursday and they had us booked in for first thing Monday. The whole environment was professional and respectful of customers throughout and I received a warm and friendly welcome on arrival. The work we had done was completed within the day, in fact by 1pm, and was around a third of the price Volvo would have charged. Really happy with the service overall and won't hesitate to return to Tom and his team for future car needs.
Fantastic service from all the staff when I went to have my brake.pads replaced. They allowed 2 hours and took me to a nearby hotel for a break. They found my discs were in need of replacement and had to order the Mercedes parts from the supplier. They ordered them in the spot and it only delayed the fitting by about half an hour. I was able to see all my old pads and discs, nothing was hidden from me. The price was half what Mercedes wanted and they fitted Mercedes parts!! Such good and friendly ( and fast) service. Thank you guys. I’ll be back!!!

As a new owner to a 2012 Range Rover I was looking for an independent specialist who could get to know my car and look after it longterm. The car developed a significant rattle which sounded like a heat shield, possibly transmission related. So I emailed GTSC and promptly received a polite phone call back to book the car in for inspection. They got me in within a week. Upon arrival I was promptly welcomed and we discussed the issue, a quick test drive to demo the problem and to also discuss the future service intervals etc. I was then given a courtesy car to keep me mobile. I rang the garage for an update as it was nearing the end of the day, and it had been fixed along with a couple of minor issues they’d spotted too. Toby & another chap were brilliant and immediately made me feel respected and comfortable. No arrogance or know-it-all behaviour which I’ve often experienced with other mechanics, usually at main dealerships. I’m so pleased I’ve found a local Indie who is knowledgeable of the car, personal and great value. Here’s to building a great relationship with them for the care of my car.
Absolutely brilliant service! Had a number of malfunction lights come on in my Audi RS5 - Audi Harrogate couldn't look at it for a couple of weeks and the local Audi specialists I typically use couldnt fit me in either. GT Service, despite being busy, said they would 'squeeze' me in after I explained that I really needed my car to go to work later this week. They gave me a lift back home after I dropped the car off in the morning, kept me up to date throughout the day and then delivered the car back to my house in the afternoon having solved all issues! And the charge was very reasonable, too. I have been seriously impressed and will no doubt use them again!
My car broke down and I found this garage, and what a find! They mended my Audi A1 promptly and communication was good. I phoned a couple of times and was promised ring backs which never came but that's my only criticism... they rung back eventually!! Car is better than when we bought it. Thanks everyone!
