I don’t even know where to begin. This was, without question, the worst experience of my life in any accommodation. The room was an absolute disgrace. The moment we walked in, the smell hit us stale, dirty, and genuinely sickening. The bed sheets were stained, the bed itself stank, and the whole room felt grimy and neglected. The cups in the room had actual stains inside them, which tells you everything about the so-called “cleaning standards.” The entire room felt like a prison cell cold, rough, depressing, and completely unfit for paying guests. I left the place itching head to toe, which is something no one should ever experience from a hotel stay. There was no private toilet or shower, something they completely failed to make clear during booking. The shared facilities were just as bad filthy and uncomfortable to even look at. At 5:57am, my partner and I were jolted awake by screaming, shouting, and banging in the hallway. Staff were shouting as well, adding to the chaos. It didn’t feel like a hotel it felt like a constant disturbance with zero control or professionalism. And just to add to the insult, the receptionist took £1 for “security fees.” For what? There was absolutely nothing secure about the place. I would genuinely rather sleep on the street than spend another penny here. This place is dirty, uncomfortable, chaotic, and completely unacceptable in every way. Please, do not book this place. No one should have to go through this.

I’ve traveled a lot, but this is by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I only booked this hotel in an emergency situation because there were no other available hotels in the area at the time and I truly regret that decision. First of all, there’s a pub right next to the hotel that plays extremely loud music until late at night. It literally feels like your room is inside a nightclub it’s impossible to get any sleep. On top of that, the room and common areas were dirty, and it was clear that cleanliness and maintenance were not a priority. The entire place felt neglected and poorly maintained. If you look out the hotel window, you’ll even get a “fantastic zoo experience” with rats wandering around in the piles of garbage outside. The service didn’t make things any better. The staff were unhelpful, didn’t listen when I tried to raise issues, and gave poor and unprofessional explanations. All in all, I would absolutely not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed here for one night. The room was dirty with blood stained sheets, wee stained towels and full of rubbish. There was bird poo on the windowsill, holes in the wall and the toilet was leaking. It was filthy and just vile to be in. The amount of bed bugs, under the disgusting sheets, was overwhelming. It has drugs everywhere and even baggies were in the corridors. Awful. Worst place I’ve ever stayed. On the way out I tried to speak to reception and they were useless.

horrible place to sleep. as two 18 year old girls we were scared. filled with bugs and came out with painful bites. dirt everywhere. we took shifts sleeping so one of us was always awake to be alert. there’s no “private” bathroom, it’s a shared space filled with mould and litter from other people. wiped table with a wipe to jokingly see if it was dirty, came up black. place obviously never cleaned, just sheets changed and not even well at that

I stay in many a budget hotel/hostel and believe me I have stayed in some very questionable accommodation, but this was the fist time I have ever left due to the sheer lack of even basic hygiene levels in both the room and the shared bathrooms. I would say avoid like the plague, but this would be unnecessarily harsh on the plague. In fact the plague is probably a minor ailment compared to what you may catch if you stay here.

Shockingly dirty, unsafe and disgusting room. The room looked nothing like the pictures posted ob Expedia. The bathrooms were dirty, most taps were not working and the shower tray flooded due to blocked pipe. The furnitures in my room were broken, the TV didn't work and the room smelled mouldy!

Paid to stay one night guy on reception was arrogant, no lights in room. Had bad smell in room, no toilet or shower, it was on landing share, would not let my dog stay there, very disgusting

Avoid this hotel at all costs!! No hot water in the "hotel", we had to share a bathroom with everybody who was on the floor. Extremely confusing to find your allocated room as the highest numbered room was on the lowest floor (Room 24 on the 2nd level and room 22 on the highest level). Toiletries were not filled, ignorant staff, damages in the rooms, views was discusting and rest assure you will never be attending again.

Rude staff, disgusting rooms, blood up curtains, bed bugs resulting in my friends being bitten, damp and leak in roof so unsafe in one of the rooms. Flies and no running water in room. Bathrooms absolutely vile. Fire exit upstairs left open at night so anyone could walk in, no working locks on windows. No offer of money back and will be reporting and taking further as the room was unsafe and handled incorrectly
