Normally it would be 5 stars but not this time. I think there was a dog in the hotel that yapped continuously for about an hour at stupid o'clock this morning then the guttering was constantly dripping on the window so I only got about 3hrs sleep. The stairs were very dirty, obviously the robotic vacuums don't do stairs. Breakfast was very sparse. Staff were lovely.

One member of staff on a Saturday night to run the whole hotel. How is this acceptable? Came back from a concert to find queues of people waiting to check in, food and bar service. Only one staff member and one security guard in attendance. Absolutely dire customer service.

Stayed here with my husband, him for Man City game, Julie checked us in and helped with tea and directions to the etihad stadium..literally 15 min walk. Room was clean and cosy. Bathroom spotless, towels fluffy and white. Lovely and warm. Restaurant and bar area all clean and staff welcoming. The price was amazing value.

I saw some fairly bad reviews for this before my arrival, but wasn't disappointed. Everything was pretty standard and as you'd expect from Travelodge here. Location doesn't feel the best as it's nestled in a bit of a rough looking housing estate, but the BnM is very close as is the bustop. Train station is a 10 minute walk, and co-op venue & statium is about 25 minutes. I was on foot so didn't need to navigate the carpark payment system ok this occasion. I'd come back though

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which was the best part of my stay. Unfortunately, the room itself was quite disappointing. It was very small, and staying for more than one night would have been a struggle. The bed wasn’t very comfortable compared to other Travelodges I’ve stayed in, and the bathroom tap was missing its top. The lampshades beside the bed were dirty and broken, and there was only one accessible plug socket in the entire room, with none near the bed. The décor felt very dated and in need of refurbishment, and I could easily hear conversations from the adjoining room, which made it difficult to relax. The car park also didn’t feel particularly safe. On a positive note, the TV worked fine, and the staff were genuinely lovely, but overall the hotel felt a bit neglected and below the usual Travelodge standard.

Good enough location takes about 10 minutes to get in to Manchester City. The rooms are very tiny barely enough space to move around. The parking is also paid and not free. The staff is polite and friendly. If you have noisy neighbours it might get difficult to get a good sleep. There is a bar and restaurant inside the hotel.

Overall it was good experience, just need to change carpet, & in washroom need to provide 2 big towels when 2 person staying in room, & not sound proof. Otherwise it was cleaned, bedding perfect, washroom cleaned too.i give 3.5 star.

Only good thing was the comfy bed. There was mould growing on the ceiling in our room. Rough enough area. Would hesitate to stay here again as staff were okay (1 nice dude with Glasses who held our luggage). The other ones were awful & downright rude with a smelly attitude.

Really enjoyed my stay here, the staff were outstanding and hospitable, the bar next to the lobby had a welcoming, cozy feel, wonderful menu and lovely rooms. I'm not sure about some of the complaints on the size, it seemed average to me, but it was very clean which is high on my importance list, as was the rest of the hotel. This hotel is away from the city bustle a bit, but a lot of trees around the property make it very relaxing and a pleasure to escape the traffic. My only feedback is the vegan sausage in the morning was freezer burned and a little bland, they can be tossed in oil & seasoning to add flavor, but fresh/defrosted is best. My veg pizza was wonderful, so was the veg burger. Great buffet in morning. Outstanding staff professionalism in housekeeping and lobby.
