Mix up with rooms from the beginning. Only 1 room available, 2nd room already taken, due to being double booked. Reception staff apologetic and sorted it. Decor tired and needs fixing, but clean bed and shower. Quiet location, overlooking a cemetery. Handy road links. Good choice of breakfast and helpful, friendly staff.
A one night stop, for my son and I. We found the hotel easily, parking was plentiful and were welcomed by friendly staff in reception. Arriving later than planned at 20:30, we were concerned we might have missed food. But fear not, the restaurant could fit us in still. Gemma B was awesome, super lovely and the perfect host for our meal. Gemma also made us aware of the meal deal offer. An evening meal, drink and breakfast for £26.99! We could not be happier.
We stayed in two rooms, and both were absolutely perfect, spotless, comfortable, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. I loved that there was extra tea and coffee available in reception to help yourself to such a thoughtful touch, especially since some places can be a bit stingy with that! What really stood out, though, were the staff. The man who checked us in was so friendly and happy to help, and at breakfast the next morning, Crystal was incredibly kind and attentive. The breakfast chef, Mark, was also a lovely and friendly face to start the day with and made our day just that bit brighter considering we were in the area for a funeral. Overall, I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. I’m not usually one to write reviews, but we had such a genuinely lovely experience that I felt it deserved one.
Gemma was our lovely receptionist & bar maid. Friendly & welcoming with a lovely smile to go with her great hospitality. All 7 of us had a great stay. Rooms are extremely clean, breakfast was amazing and enjoyed by all. Thank you !!
I went up there on a Saturday night. The bed was comfortable. The hotel was quiet. I still never figured out how to work the heating. I was joined by a couple of guys from Holland that I never met before. We had a great chat over breakfast very enjoyable. We're telling me that they were there for a war hammer tournament. Overall a great experience.
Comfortable rooms, really pleasant and friendly staff, not bad breakfast. They just need to smarten up the outside of the odd-looking pub which faces the road and which provides the first impression of the place.
Premier Inn south Stockport. Staff friendly and helpful. Room tidy and clean. But no water to drink in room. Only two pillows. Basin has a large crack in it. Bedroom light switch about to fall apart. Bar had no one there for about 10 minutes had to shout out along with others for the bar tender who was outside.
Only called in as a visitor to see friends who were in town. Very pleased with the size of the room, great bathroom, tea making facilities, TV. Plenty of luggage room, hanging space and good sized bed. I'd definitely recommend it to other friends who stay in town.
Friendly staff in a good hotel, no complaints. They know how to cook in the Beefeater here (not always the case in Whitbread's fleet). Perfect steak, lovely breakfast.
Clean, tidy, comfortable large room. Up to the company standards. Had to wait a while to check in, as the receptionist was outside smoking, we passed her on the way in. However, when she did arrive, she was very plesent. Terrible breakfast experience at the adjoining Bamford arms the next morning. But that isnt Premiers fault.
