I was looking for a replacement dog collar and they showed me all the types available and we worked out what size I’d need to get. The price was great and a much better selection than competitors (Pets at home) I left with a lovely collar and Teddy Bear loves it!”

“I cannot recommend Dogz Club enough! We got our little Dachshund just as we entered the first lockdown, so there was inevitable anxiety around a lack of socialising, but DC has ensured our pup is so confident and happy around other dogs. The staff are so attentive and update me with honest feedback whenever I ask for it. The picture/video updates during the day of all the dogs having fun, regular themed parties throughout the year and goody bags are all examples of extra touches which makes this such a great day-care. “We've asked Simeon at Fluffies to cat-sit twice now. Our cat can be a bit of a diva and overly sensitive to change but once he knew what was what with Simeon all was fine. We met Simeon prior to our first booking and he obviously loves cats, so we felt comfortable with our choice. He has also put out/collected our bins and mail for us which helps to make your house look less vacant. His prices are exceptionally reasonable and we have been able to book him at short notice (although obviously try to book in advance if you can). Receiving updates and pics via WhatsApp every day really helps reassure you, especially if you overly worry about your pet.”

“I couldn't fault the service I received from Petstay at all. Jason was so friendly and found me the perfect pet sitter for my dog Pixie. I was initially extremely nervous as the only sitter available for my dates away was a lady with 2 dogs of her own. My dog is an only dog and is unashamedly a bit of a 'princess', so I wasn't sure how she'd cope. I have left her in kennels previously, and she didn't settle at all and lost a lot of weight, so I was uncomfortable leaving her again for 2 weeks, whilst we were away in America. I met with Dianne and her 2 dogs, when Pixie and I went for an initial home visit. Dianne is such a natural 'dog' person and is clearly very experienced at owning dogs and she made me feel so at ease and asked all the right questions about Pixie and wanted to find out as much as she could about her, to make her stay go well. We even agreed to go on a couple of walks together before Pixies stay, so I could see where Pixie would be walked and so the dogs could get use to each other beforehand. I was really nervous about leaving Pixie and thought it would spoil my holiday, to constantly be worrying about her but Dianne and I had agreed that we would keep in touch throughout the holiday with little updates and photos now and again, this meant I could really enjoy my holiday and Pixie could enjoy her time away too. After picking Pixie up she has settled back into life at home again and I would have absolutely no hesitation using Dianne again and would recommend using Petstay to anyone (and have already recommended them to my veterinary practice).”

“I have used Izzy for 6 weeks while I recovered from surgery . I used to see Izzy on my normal dog walks and saw her with the dogs she walked. I could see how the dogs she walked reacted to her and the care she took with them, so when I needed help after surgery I asked her if she could help. After a difficult time initially with one of my dogs who wouldn’t go in her car , all 3 really looked foreward to there walks and sat at the window looking for her. She was very reliable and very careing towards my dogs. My 3 are not easy, all have little issues and are old , she fitted in with them, accommodating there needs and was so patient with them. I don’t think I could have chosen anyone better . Thanks Izzy”

“We have used Scamps & Champs for over 6 years since we got our dog, Dougie. Every dog walker who has walked him has been professional, kind and caring. Dougie gets to walk and socialise with other dogs and loves all of the walkers but especially Jackie, who is his regular walker. We've also used the boarding service which is second to none. The online service is easy to use and allows flexibility to schedule and cancel walks as necessary. I would recommend the company to anyone (actually I did - my sister in law also uses them and loves them!)”

“Very decent budget hotel. Can’t fault the location. Right next to the train station. But I parked in a very new looking multi-storey NCP a 2 minute walk away. There’s also a handy Sainsburys Local next to the car park. Fairly standard Express room. But everything was in good order and very clean. Nice big walk-in shower with great water pressure. Breakfast quality was very good for this class of hotel and the 2 ladies running the breakfast service were very friendly and efficient.”

“Support your local independent businesses! Edgeley is lucky to have a pet shop on the high street. I have bought plenty of cat toys here and they also do refills for biscuits which avoids plastic waste.”
