“Really pleased with the treatment my cat Ares received yesterday. He needed his booster and flea/worming and the vet we saw (I didn't catch her name unfortunately) was extremely kind and gentle with him. She was patient with me too and checked him over when I mentioned a couple of other things I was concerned with. Cost of treatment seems reasonable to previous vets we've visited. The lady on reception was really friendly too. Parking round the rear of the building. Lastly, they have a candle in the reception which is lit if an owner is having having an appointment to have their pet put to sleep, and request soft voices and respect if this is the case. I've never seen this before in vets and thought it was a lovely idea.”

“Our pug was urgently treated at Woodcroft for an ulcer on his cornea. The care from the staff was fantastic from the reception team, the nurses and the brilliant surgeon Alistair. Hopefully we are at the end of the treatment but I cannot recommend highly enough, every one at the hospital, pets are truly part of the family and watching what our Reggie has gone through is distressing, without Woodcroft it could have been so much worse. I have been taking my pets to Woodcroft in Heaton Moor for what must be in excess of 30 years and have never had any reason to complain. To make things easier I am in their pet club which makes payment for routine annual boosters, worming and flea treatment very manageable. I recommend taking your pet there (far better than the chain of vets you may know of up and down the country.”

“My little Cavachon Dylan has just had dental surgery. Quoted for 1 tooth removal and scale and polish - ended up with 6 teeth extracted. I was so shocked! However - no extra charge, so I was reassured that it was absolutely required. I was worried sick; as were not exactly wadded! Such a relief and the after care has been exceptional: A thorough explanation on pick up. A follow-up appointment booked. A phone call on the Saturday after surgery... We have Dylan's health plan with Vets for Pets and we used the out of hours prior to his op (thinking he was in pain). Because we saw a nurse ()ovely) and not a vet - so no charge for the reassurance. Best thing I did for Dylan was to register with this practice - they are wonderful with him.”
