βThank you so much for looking after my girl while I nipped to use the facilities round the back. I hadn't noticed these little nooks and signs before. She was so chilled even after just 5 minutes. The spray and the blankets are a wonderful idea. These are the details that make me travel so far β€οΈβ
βMy dog was referred here a few months ago, as she needed emergency surgery on her back. However, another out of hours vet practice who I saw less than 24 hours before, told me she was nowhere near needing surgery. Now, that's not very good and is being looked into. The care given here was excellent, the operation went well and she was looked after for a few days. Then home for some TLC, after several weeks of crate rest and a follow up visit, she is doing really well. My wife, myself and Mabel are extremely grateful to all of the staff here.β

βMarley likes his visit to the vets. I feel at ease knowing he is. Everyone makes such a fuss of him and he has cottoned on to the treats behind the reception counter. He registers himself in now!β

βI have dealt with terrace road vets for years now and never fail to amaze me .we have recently had our jack put to sleep only last week and leading up to this and during and after I cannot thank each and every member of staff .You all have shown that it's not just a job and another pet ,but go above and beyond to listen ,give as much time and compassion and empathy .We have been devastated over jack and without your kindness and support we couldn't have got through this .we are still grieving but cme to pick jack up to be told not your dog or jack is ready but to say your baby boy is ready to come home ,wow just how lovly those words meant even though I cried because he was our baby boy and picking him up and still having kind words and care meant such alot .we then get in tye car to open the card with his paw prints and fir which I wasn't expecting just overwhelmed us .Thankyou so much I will be eternally grateful and never forget .For now as it has devastated us to lose jack we will not be having anymore pets for a while as nothing can take place of our fir baby boy but if we ever do we will not hesitate to come here again .Lots of love to you all and I can't thankyou enough from the bottom of my heart β₯οΈ xxβ
βWe have used the Kirkby branch of Vets for Pets for 5 years and wouldnβt go elsewhere. The staff are always polite, and each visit feels like they really know our cats. One of our cats needs regular check ups and medication, the vets and nurses he sees go out of their way to make sure he is calm and comfortable, and always explain things to us thoroughly. Appointments are easy to make and the reception staff will are happy to find something that will work for your schedule. Ordering medication is also really simple with a quick call and a collection.β
βTook my rats here and have been very happy with the service! Staff are absolutely lovely and so warm and welcoming and absolutely adored my rats and giving them some cuddles and love! We always feel like we get treated well and I cannot thank them enough for how much they went out of their way to help us today! They did something really kind for us and I just wanted to say how much I appreciated it, since I didn't get to at the time as I was a bit of a mess! Haha.β

βI have my dogs registered here and they are amazing. My daughterβs dog was seriously ill recently too and they went above and beyond so her dog made a full recovery against the odds. βCalled practice at 6pm as my dog was acutely unwell. Appt given for 6.20pm. Seen a little later than that y a lovely vet. Dog examined thoroughly, diagnosis discussed, treatment plan shared. Injection plus oral medication given. Returned home with a much more settled and comfortable dog. She is back to her normal self today. Cannot recommend this vet highly enough. Thank youβ

βI rescued a beautiful but injured racing pigeon (broken leg) that I spotted sitting in the middle of Lady bay brdge with cars swerving all around it, wheels only inches from its vulnerable body. Having gently placed it in a box in the back of my car, I phoned all the wildlife rescue centres in the area, mostly getting nowhere (although one did phone back an hour later). I eventually spoke to someone who told me my local vet was obliged to treat wildlife (although in this instance, there was an owner) so I took it to V4P. I have since learned that the bird is undergoing treatment, is being rehabilitated and will be reunited with its owner. I'm so happy that this bird has a second chance at life. It would not have survived without mine or the V4P practice intervention. I am told that this practice does regularly treat wildlife and does not automatically euthanise unless it is the kindest thing to do. Thank you to the team!β
βAll staff are friendly and very welcoming, had a few problems at vets before with having Akitas, they listen and advice and work around you the best they can. My girl is super anxious and they are great with her!β
