“When our dog Henry developed cataracts due to diabetes, he lost his sight completely. For two months before referral he was blind, and at the same time he also went deaf. It was heartbreaking to see him so frightened, depressed, and miserable — his quality of life had fallen so low that we even considered putting him to sleep. From the moment we came to Paragon, everything changed. Sam, Simon, and James treated Henry with such care and professionalism, and gave us hope when we thought there was none. The cataract surgery was a complete success — Henry can see again, and his ongoing check‑ups have shown he’s doing very well. His world has opened up once more. “Amazing little vets - just a heads up when trying to find it that it just looks like an ordinary house door from the outside. Threw us a bit. Saw my cat Toffee as an emergency and quickly diagnosed him and administered a steroid injection which he didn't even notice and prescribed some antibiotics and special flea treatment after an allergy saw him in a bad way. Toffee is bright and happy again and is taking his antibiotics like a trooper. She was kind as was the receptionist and saw to him quickly as she could see he was distressed. She didn't even mind that poor Toff had an accident due to stress. Very reasonably priced and a lovely clean environment. Thank you ❤️”

We were ushered into a consulting room as soon as we arrived and given private time with our cat Lulu to say goodbye. The process although heartbreaking could not have been more gentle comfortable, and considerate for Lulu and us. She left us peacefully. Minster vets had treated Lulu for 15 years; and when we feel up to having another pet they will look after that one too. Thank you. Must also mention the hand written sympathy card that arrived a few days later from the surgery. What a lovely gesture.”
