   So glad we signed up to Abbey House when shopping around for vets for our two kittens. The staff are always warm and welcoming and we've never had trouble getting appointments. The Pet Health for Life Plan is also a fantastic bonus. Highly recommend to all pet parents in Batley!

   Got told my cat was 5wk pregnant with 4-5 kittens and a tick she had was apparently fine to leave in cos it wasn't bothering her. My cat wasn't pregnant at all she'd already been spayed when we took her for spaying after paying 100 pound for a scan. Now they think they've done nothing wrong. I'm disgusted

   I have used this vets for years. I trust them with my animals, the prices aren't extortion either. Only thing I wish they had is an emergency centre instead of using the one in Morley. Very nice staff, always clean and tidy and they treat Bryan my cat like a rock star

   We have attended Croft House Vet clinic for many years. My parents used this vets and so I followed suit. I've really mixed views now though. Since being taken over by Abbey House Vets there hasn't been the same continuity of care and finance seems to be the priority. I had my dog spayed here 8 months ago and the surgery went well with no complications. Roberta was the surgeon and she was efficient and very reassuring. However I had a consultation earlier with a different vet who frankly worried me. She was unkempt with dirty fingernails and dressed in a stained, unclean sweatshirt and pants. I wasn't happy with the consultation and so asked for Roberta to do the surgery. I also telephoned recently to check if they did dental health for dogs. I was told by the receptionist that it would cost £400-£500 for a de-scale and polish and my dog would need a general anaesthetic. End of advice!! I called in to Pets at Home just on the off-chance that I'd get additional advice. The receptionist was amazing. Gave me lots of advice. Booked me in with the nurse for a free assessment. She then recommended de-scale and polish for a cost of £99.00 including general anaesthetic. My doggie had the de-scale and polish under general anaesthetic at Pets at Home. Her teeth are beautiful. Really pleased with the result and her immediate recovery. Disappointed with my own vets that they couldn't offer this service

   I have 2 very difficult cats and a small baby. The staff could not be more helpful. They handle my insurance claims for me and can always be guaranteed to have a smile for us... even as they reach for the plasters lol! I wouldn't trust anyone else with my cats care and can't recommend them highly enough.
