Jess was easy to contact and came the same day within a few hours to our home to put our beloved dog Ellie to sleep. Nothing was rushed and she showed empathy and compassion throughout. Highly recommend.

When we had to make the awful decision of saying goodbye to our beloved dog Bella, we knew Jess was the only vet we would use as she had previously treated our dog Dexter. We can’t thank Jess at The Visiting Vet enough for the kindness and compassion shown when we had to say goodbye to our beloved Border Terrier. Today Jess came to our home as it was time for us to let our dog go . Jess was kind and caring and never made us feel rushed , she made us all feel at ease . Jess was lovely with our dog and our beautiful dog left with the dignity she deserved . I couldn't have wished for a more peaceful end after all the years of love that Dog gave me and my family . Jess came after a referral from a colleague to see my elderly cat Bruce. I lost bruce and Jess put me in touch with a lady who had just lost her mum and her cat Tigger needed a new home. So, after speaking to Sue I said I would have Tigger. So now Jess who was Tigger’s Vet previously is still his Vet, just in a different home. If you need a vet to come to you then The Visiting Vet is a perfect solution. I have had absolutely no hesitation in recommending Jess and her team.
We have an old and very anxious Labrador. Jess and her colleague came out to assess and treat a dental abscess. They were both brilliant and the home visit was much easier on him than a trip to the surgery. He's now feeling much better. A really excellent service.
Absolutely superb!! Excellent, professional and friendly service from start to finish. The booking process was simple and straightforward. Jess was brilliant with the kitties and provided knowledgeable and sound advice. It was so reassuring and hassle-free that the kitties (and me!) didn’t have to go through the stress of the dreaded cat carrier, drive to the vets and then having to endure the waiting room of various animals in an unnerving, unfamiliar environment. They were made to feel at ease and didn’t mind their check up, weigh in and vaccinations one little bit. I really can’t praise The Visiting Vet Co highly enough. I’ve tried so many high street vets over the years and now wouldn’t consider any other alternative again. Thank you so much!!
I can't recommend Jess more highly. What a comfort it was to have my precious, almost 17 year old cat Bota treated at home, without the stress of having to put her into a carry box and make a journey in the car - which she hated! All the treatment carried out was done entirely with only Bota's best interests at heart, and without any unnecessary, costly suggestions, which I have experienced with larger vet practices in the past. Ever so sadly, Bota was put to sleep, but she went to sleep, in her favourite place - resting over my shoulder in the garden in the sun. Jess's understanding and empathy for my sadness meant the world to me. Thank you so much.
