   I can’t say enough good things about Sandbeck Vets. They recently looked after Lemony for her spay, and they also carried out Luna’s spay previously (both cocker spaniels). My dogs are my absolute world, and the care and understanding shown by the whole team genuinely eased my nerves and anxieties — nothing ever felt like too much trouble. They took the time to really understand Lemony, who is a very full-on, high-drive dog, and completely embraced her for who she is. I asked for a phone call as soon as she was out of surgery and they did exactly that, which meant so much to me. At every follow-up visit they truly listened, were endlessly patient, and even got down on the floor to cuddle Lemony. Nearly two weeks on, Lemony still loves going to the vets (weird dog!), her scar looks incredible, and her recovery has been faultless. You can genuinely tell that everyone — from the receptionists to the nurses and vets — really, really cares, and that makes all the difference. I’m so grateful to have such a wonderful practice looking after my girls.

   Fantastic vets. Not had the best experience with other vets in the past so was always nervous. As a new customer, I cannot praise them enough. Honestly I wouldn’t put my pets safety with anybody else now! Sandbeck are by far the best vets we have been with. They always make my cat, Gizmo feel so safe. They are very informative and helpful. The receptionists and vets, can’t praise them enough!

   The team at Sandbeck have been amazing with supporting us through the diagnosis of lymphoma and into chemotherapy for Izzy. all our dogs (6) are with Sandbeck. Izzy has been treated like one of their own. even through some pretty horrific side effects they have listened and helped us manage her. no matter what the outcome, I am confident we have tried our best and she has had the best treatment possible. special thanks to Natalie for ensuring she could have ongoing treatment and Sandbeck which means we didnt have to travel every week to another centre.

   From walking through the doors to saying our goodbyes, we were in the very best hands every step of the way. The surgery on my dog’s eye was absolutely impeccable! I’ve never seen sutures so neat on a human, let alone in such a delicate area on a dog. It gave me such peace of mind knowing she was being cared for by people who clearly love what they do. Seeing how happy she was when I collected her said it all; she’d been fussed, cuddled, and properly looked after all day. I specifically chose Sandbeck to carry out the surgery, rather than my usual vet, after so many glowing recommendations, and I’m so glad I did. They even called the next day to check how she was recovering, which was such a thoughtful touch. My only complaint? I don’t live in Wetherby, otherwise this would be our regular practice without question.

   Over decades of having dogs as family members and with moving house, we have been with several vet practices and Sandbeck is head and shoulders above the rest! Recommended to us by another very satisfied customer, we’re so relieved and grateful that we found you and that Max and Fern are under your care. We’ve had a worrying few months with Max being very poorly and the kindness, professionalism and expertise we’ve experienced has been exceptional. From the receptionists, the nurses, the superb vets and everyone behind the scenes, your practice really does treat our dogs and us as the people who love them the most, with the utmost respect and care.    I am incredibly impressed with this practice and I think I'm probably not the easiest person to please, being medical myself. I have had my cats enrolled with several vets over their lifetime and this practice is by far the best. What is more, all of the vets we have seen (4 different ones) have all been excellent. They were all wonderful with the animals, calm, considered, thoughtful, cautious when appropriate, yet also sensible and pragmatic. The reception staff are very friendly, considerate and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend this practice to anyone.

   Before you sign up to a vets, take the time & trouble to read their website terms & conditions & consider the mentality behind them. The best vets are people people, they look after you as much as they look after our animals. The less good vets talk lots about how they are people people, but in truth their business is money focussed and they have long complex terms and conditions in their hip pocket to refer to so you cannot escape... Our choice of Sandbeck has never, for an instant, been questioned. Just last week we lost Bumble & the care & consideration shown by every single person we came into contact with at the practise has been wonderful. Not that we are rushing things, but once we get a new furry friend we shall be back into the caring embrace of the extended family that is Sandbeck Vets...

   Took my rescue cat today and she didn’t get stressed at all. The vet was lovely but extremely professional. Very helpful and found the best and most cost effective way to treat my old cat for thyroid problems. Very happy and relieved. The vet put me at ease about her condition and the expense of a lifelong illness.
