“Had a flu vaccination before booked via NHS app. Turned up for appointment and pharmacy closed at scheduled time for lunch! Wasted journey. Update changed from original 1* review - had a courtesy call from the pharmacist within a few days of posting this review very apologetic, as the NHS app did not take into account lunchtime closing. Offered a walk-in for the flu-jab. Very understanding and certainly changed my mind about any doubts about Awsworth Pharmacy. Unfortunately, the NHS is broken, kept afloat only by those who pick-up the pieces for the patients. Thanks again for getting back to me Awsworth Pharmacy - you didn't have to, but you did, because you care about patients :-). 5* service.”

I have never been to the area before but my dog sniffed out the pet shop she was super lovely to give him a fresh bowl of water as soon as we walked in super understanding how nervous he can be around people we even had a bit of a laugh quite cheap too.my dog was even comfortable enough to have a quick nap on the floor which he never does anywhere.”

“I love this shop, I have used it for many, many years! A lovely independent pet store that is ran by lovely people. Well stocked too! I have always brought all of my pet food here (I have had a few pets over the years.) Rabbit, snake, chickens, hamsters, gecko, cat, dog and fish...they have all been fed by food from Chambers! My dog loves the hairy cows ears and the puffed pig noses. I get my dog food here too as their own brand is not full of rubbish like the 'main brands' you buy in a supermarket! If you want natural treats for your dogs rather than the ones full of fillers and sugar then this is the place.”

“Have been coming here 4/5 years with my rats and they have always been amazing and knowledgeable, laura and rob are both amazing with rats and there are more than one exotics knowledgeable vet nurses on the staff. Theyve always done their best to keep their costs down for me and the out of hours workers also always try their best with what they can.”

There's a much better range of frozen products for raw feeding than in many other stores (e.g. Pets at Home) and we love the pick and mix natural dog treats!”

“NO LONGER HAVE THE DOG WASH. Staff are really nice and helpful. The Self Dog wash is brilliant !!!!! Wash and dry for £ 7.50. For 15 minutes. Also, they sell these chocolate brownies, which I have not seen before, and you can't get them anywhere else (I have looked humans could eat them you will want to when you see them. ) which my dogs love !!!!! They come in a bag all natural ingredients on offer 2 for £5.00 best dog treats EVER !!!! Love the store in gamston Nottingham !!! Thank you to all who work there and work so hard to please !!!! “Today I had the most amazing experience with The pet vet Bilborough. I brought my very nervous nala to have her teeth done and they went above and beyond to accommodate her, allowed me to sit with her pre and post op to keep her calm and relaxed, constantly had the team checking on us. the vets and nurses were so good with her, getting on her level and letting her take her time to come to them and did not rush her. I could not of asked for a better experience. every single member of staff i interacted with was so lovely and friendly and they seemed genuinely supportive of nala and wanted the same care and experience for her that I as her owner would want. I came here due to the dental offer but will definitely be moving here and highly recommend. i’ve been to a few vets now and have never found they understand nervous dogs or want the genuine best thing for the animal but these guys definitely do treat them as their own. thank you so much guys ❤️”
