   Have a small adoption section for small animals, which is lovely. Decent range of fish. However, staff are not very knowledgeable on fish. Whilst attempting to catch some fish for me (very aggressively and carelessly), one of the members of staff hit a fish with the net and it was lifeless. Another employee gave me a mixed bag of wrong fish (similar types) which was not suitable for what I required. The fish are also not very healthy, as I have twice gotten fish from here with white spot. You would definitely need to quarantine any fish purchased from here as they only quarantine fish for a day once it has arrived at their store, which is definitely not sufficient. I have also overheard staff on numerous occasions, sharing incorrect care information with customers. Doesn't really give you much confidence to hear something like that. I really don't agree with the practices employed at this store (which I'm assuming is the same at the other stores). Employees definitely need more training regarding the fish department. Those employed are always really young/teens, so maybe they need to start hiring adults with actual experience. Very disappointing. I have given them many chances, but I am all the more disappointed with each visit. I will now be sticking to actual independent aquatic shops, to ensure I buy the best quality fish that have been tended to with the utmost care that they deserve.

   It is what it is. Went and bought some items for a puppy and was told to register the pet in the app. Doing so qualified me for a whole host of discount vouchers... which was nice. Saved me around £20

   I was sent a voucher to use on a free bag of dog treats for my dogs birthday but the store had none in stock (full stocks of similar ones that didn't qualify). Young girl on the checkout didn't seem bothered that I had wasted a trip for nothing and had no suggestions. If pets at home are going to offer freebies for pets birthdays, then please make sure you have a good supply! Also, many products are more expensive than the supermarkets. I won't be returning to this branch in a hurry.

   Always enjoy a visit to this branch, well stocked good choice of items. Friendly staff. Parking can be a problem sometimes due to the coffee shop next door. So when I visit I leave my car near homebase and walk. Saves getting stuck or a damaged car.
