“Despite other reviews I've found this pharmacy very helpful over the last 5 months. I collect my medication weekly and they text me each week when it's ready. Normally it's my GP who let me down and not the pharmacy.”

“Just wanted to give a positive review despite the end result not being positive. Went to collect some ADHD medication prescribed by my doctor as was told it was in stock at this boots branch. Turns out it wasn't. The manager of the place (and of the cripps boots) could see I was visible upset and stressed by this (as it's been 2-3 weeks with no medication) and instead of just rushing me off Or moving onto next person in queue actually took the time to take me aside, talk me thru this and actually provide more help, context and support than I think i've ever received from a pharmacy before. Didn't get the tablets but the fact that this person took the time to help out someone clearly frustrated and upset with a situation that was none of their own doing really was some great customer service I havent seen in a while. Wanted to reach out and state i really appreciated this.”

“Reviews are only low because only people with bad experiences will report it. I'm sure there are many people with good experiences but don't write it on google. I've seen the staff working very hard, they have tons of prescriptions coming in each day and each has to be checked vigorously to ensure they won't do harm to the patient as the GP doesn't always get it 100% right. If you have to wait or if they miss a phone call it's because they can't multitask everything at the same time, I've seen them non stop working and appreciate them for it.”

“Having read some poor reviews of this Chemist I did wonder if I 'd been wise choosing them for my repeat prescriptions. After phoning to confirm my prescription would be ready I was assured it would be. Upon arrival all was indeed ready to go. They even helped to make sure future prescriptions would be ready at the due date. I found the Staff to be pleasant and efficient. As it's right next door to the Medical Practice it could hardly be more convenient.”

“My GP is in the next village and they have a dispensary but as I was unable to travel she was able to send my emergency prescription to Calverton Boots . I called 5 mins after the prescription had been sent and spoke to a lovely helpful person called Joanne . She quickly found me on the system , confirmed my details and said it would be ready to collect in 20 mins . I went over 20 mins later and my much needed meds were ready to collect straight away . I cannot express my thanks to the hard working team . It’s a very very busy pharmacy and they are often under immense pressure but never allow this to change how polite and caring there are / many many thanks”

The vet was friendly, kind and excellent with our rather shy boy. Couldn't have been any better for a worried owner. He’s been seen in hours has an urgent visit from speaking to the amazing nurses/reception team. “Always fantastic service and looked after all my pets over the years but just this bank holiday my dog needed a blood test and I got a call 8pm Saturday night to say he needed some tablets ASAP and mr Owen was at the surgery and we could go and get them,He’d gone in just to see if our results were back. It was recommended by our vet as they are one of the few practices in the area that perform prophylactic gastropexies, which they did in addition to spaying as part of the same operation.
