My GP is in the next village and they have a dispensary but as I was unable to travel she was able to send my emergency prescription to Calverton Boots . I called 5 mins after the prescription had been sent and spoke to a lovely helpful person called Joanne . She quickly found me on the system , confirmed my details and said it would be ready to collect in 20 mins . I went over 20 mins later and my much needed meds were ready to collect straight away . I cannot express my thanks to the hard working team . It’s a very very busy pharmacy and they are often under immense pressure but never allow this to change how polite and caring there are / many many thanks

From ordering meds at G.Ps to collecting 8 days and still waiting on 1 lot of tablets which I have already run out of. I find most of the staff rude and slow. Joanne is the only person who seems to do everything she can to help you. So fed up with getting to Boots and having to start waiting outside the door. Very poor.

I don't normally leave reviews but I will on this occasion as I feel so strongly about this branch. Calverton branch is honestly a nightmare. Huge waiting times, even at less busy times. Refused to give me urgent meds after my operation. And never answer the phone. I only use this branch when prescriptions are sent electronically via the docs. Other wise its quicker and easier to take a trip to somewhere else.

The absolute worst service EVER. Dont have anything and when told i needed my insulin this morning and that i had ordered it within enough time from my doctors to them they then make up some excuse as to why they have only just looked at it now while i have rang them at 9.05am. Then to tell me they needed to 9rder it in and they close at 6pm. Im at work from 12-8pm so i ask them are they able to deliver seeing as this issue is now on them not me, no they cannot do it. The man i spoke too was monotone lacked empathy and generally couldnt give a flying monkey as to why i was so annoyed they didnt have my prescription ready and they were offering no alternatives. I asked them to give myself an emergency prescription of the insulin needed which they replied with they cannot do it. Every pharmacy can do that. Total lies amd the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

This place is a total joke. I know im not the only person in the village who thinks this. The service is shocking the stock levels are pathetic. The que lengths are horrendous Boots are a waste of time. Worst pharmacy ive ever used should be closed down and allow a quality service to take over Lowdhams or asda are by far and i mean a billion times better. Boots doing a job exceptionally badly. 1 star is to much but it wont allow minus stars. Staff just let the ques build while 1 staff member serves everyone. Total mikey take of customer service

Have been twice now and they have been unable to fulfil my prescription request. I had to return to the doctors and get a green slip to now take elsewhere. Also - the queue was out the door and after waiting 30 minutes, I was finally told they weren't issuing any prescriptions. How about telling everyone outside and save wasting their day? Not a very good service when the prescriptions are clearly needed for health purposes.

Very dissatisfied with the service. In fact I don’t call it a service at all. It’s abysmal. I only needed paracetamol. Queue was going back to the door. Only one person on the till who has to deal with prescriptions and sales and logging into a computer. Many people working in the dispensary. I know prescriptions need to be checked and probably double checked etc. I get it, that’s important, but surely someone could take 10 minutes to clear the queue. Boots obviously put profit before the customer and won’t pay for another member of staff. There’s a sign stating zero tolerance for any abuse, which suggests to me that the service is poor and a lot of people are getting angry. Most of the people needing a pharmacy are like me, with cancer or other chronic diseases. Standing around can be painful, literally. There is no other pharmacy in Calverton. In future I will not be using this shop and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I would rather drive further away and get a better service elsewhere.
