1. Emergency line gets put down on you. Then when you get asked why you didnt call that line they tell you "yeah, that happens" so not really an emergency line when no one answers. 2. You are expected to be there for your appointment time. No other animals in at the time and they are late (given no other animals but you can hear laughing), but they would cancel if you were late. 3. Tried to make a complaint and never heard back. Almost like they werent interested EDIT: decided that it was a time to do an alarm test. My dog ended up getting even more frightened. No professionalism

I had to have one of our family pets put to sleep and we were treated with dignity, respect and loving care.

Nice building and staff. Seemed we went at a quiet time so it wasn't busy at all. There was room to keep away from other visitors in case you had a nervous pet. Car park seemed REALLY small. Don't drive if you can avoid it.

The amazing staff at the PDSA saved our dogs life. We rushed him in out of hours on a Saturday night and were able to pick him up on Sunday night after he had made a good recovery. We absolutely expected the worst, to be honest. Zoe took great care of us and our dog and explained everything very clearly, including the cost. We received 3 phone calls with updates throughout Sunday, prior to collecting our boy. They took such good care of him and one week later, he is happy and healthy and still with us! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts....from us and Murphy!

It's really hard to give this place a review. The location is great, very easy to get to, and generally easy to make an emergency appointment. The vet staff and nurses are incredible - very caring, friendly, and helpful. They have helped us with multiple pet emergencies and have always given our pets the best care they could. However, the PDSA receptionists are utterly, utterly awful. Every time I have been in we have been looked down on and treated like either awful pet owners or benefit scroungers. I've been talked over, denied vet care, spoken back to, and told that we were trying to 'just get free vet care when we don't need it', all while dealing with the extreme stress of having a seriously ill pet. On top of that, hounding patients for donations despite telling them we can't even afford food for ourselves due to multiple expensive private vet bills, and then being scolded for not donating is just disgusting practice. They already know the people using their service are low income and in need, yet treat their service users like sub-humans. Obviously we try to use private vet care when we can but there are some situations where that isn't possible, and being villainsed for doing so is simply cruel. I would come back here if I needed to, but only because I care for my pets' welfare.

Great new building with ample parking and easy access. Seen in good time and separate seating for cat and dog owners. Seating also available outside under a canopy to keep you dry while you wait. Vet was polite and did a full health check on my dog and 2 appointments were made for treatment the same week.

Layout is great, reception separates dogs from cats etc and is very spacious. Trainee staff that had seen us were brilliant and very informative. Checked everything that they possibly could, was very reassuring and polite. Reception staff are lovely and helpful. Couldn’t recommend more.
