“We were sceptical about staying at The Hyde venue as we knew it wasn’t as renovated as its local sites such as the Ashton site. Having recently visited to use the swimming facilities we were met by friendly staff so we decided to book an overnight here due to the low costs. Being regulars at sites such as Manchester’s dokota and the midland we naturally had high standards basing our recommendations off google and trip advisor ratings. I can honestly say after meeting Kai and Kiki at the bar they completed our stay. They were so welcoming and genuine honest people who cared to take the time to speak to you despite their clear busy work schedule. Before meeting them the staff were friendly but did the bare minimum. I feel I need to give a special mention to these two individuals because they go above and beyond what is expected and deserve to be recognised by management and higher as they have staff that exceed their pay grade. What they provided was above and beyond what any of the 5* venues we visit in Manchester City centre and we will return on the back of their hospitality alone. I hope this review allows the recognition they deserve, having started my career in hospitality at the age of 15 I know how hard it is to show care and general interest in clients but they do so in an impeccable manner. “Wanted to order a Bunty bed for a new puppy (never had a dog before), but wasn't sure on a few things. Ended up calling Bunty directly and their customer staff were really helpful. We ended up with a Polar (really good quality), and my only wish was they did one in human size LOL. Will definitely be ordering again!”

“For anything dog related, Ann-Marie is your go to person. We trust her completely with our pugs and they always have a fantastic time out walking with her. We really appreciate how Ann-Marie is extra considerate of any special requirements such as our old/blind pug and the pugs in warm weather. Ann-Marie is also an excellent trainer; very knowledgeable, friendly and has helped us with a range of things from jumping up to settling in busy environments. We call her the dog whisperer! “So this was the first time us leaving our cat in a Cattery due to him being diabetic and he needed extra care. Lisa made us feel so at ease and seeing reviews she had cared for other diabetic cats was a relief. We were delayed by 27hrs on our return and nothing was too much to help or bother for the extra night needed. Highly recommend. Love me, Dan and Bentley :)”

“I took my very nervous french bulldog to have her nails clipped for the first time at poochys grooming and the lady was very nice and calming, if my dog could talk she’d probably say she had a terrible time having her nails clipped but I would say differently I had a lovey experience and I would definitely recommend to other Thank you :)”

“I keep being asked how my visit was by Google but I've only ever known this as a pub. It looks fantastic inside. I drank in there from 1986 upto 1995. To turn this into what in guessing is a young child's pool must have been such a gamble but it seems to have been a very clever one. I wonder if such imagination will go into other pubs that close. “Absolutely love Snobby Dogs and so does my doggy. We’ve been getting our dogs groomed here for years and they have always done a fantastic job. The accessories available are spot on too, my doggy loves her winter puffer jacket, so does anyone who sees her in it also! The fuss they make of my doggy whilst she is in their care has made her anxiousness disappear and she now strolls in and gets excited that she’s having a groom! The bows on the collar are a lovely little bonus and we have a great picture they took from last Christmas of her in a sleigh after her groom looking very pleased about her new ‘do!”

“Hosted a games night for our running club in the free function room upstairs. Such a beautiful room with original features. We only had chip butties but they were really good, we even got some salad & cakes thrown in and the napkins were super cute! Lisa was super helpful when trying to organise. Would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be visiting again! Thanks for a great night!”
