Comprehensive Care & Services From routine check-ups and vaccinations to emergency interventions, White Cross offers a breadth of services that have catered to all stages of my pets’ lives. Their preventive health plans are reasonably priced and include extras like nail trims and weight consultations, which have been especially helpful for Roxy, who tends to pack on the pounds when left unchecked. Staff Professionalism & Compassion The practice’s greatest strength is its team. Receptionists are friendly and efficient over the phone, while veterinary nurses are patient—Roxy, with her grumpy demeanor, often requires extra coaxing, and they’ve always managed her care calmly and skillfully. Most notably, when Barry passed away last year, I requested one of White Cross’s complimentary paw-print keepsakes. Unfortunately, this special memento was overlooked, and it’s something I can never recover. However, Mike—the attending vet—handled the situation with integrity: he acknowledged the error without deflection, refunded the cremation fee in full, and offered his sincere apologies. That willingness to take accountability and prioritize compassion over bureaucracy spoke volumes. Facilities & Convenience White Cross’s modern clinic is clean and well-equipped. Appointment availability has generally been excellent, with emergency slots reserved for urgent cases. Their online portal for booking and prescription refills works smoothly, though I’ve occasionally had to call when last-minute appointments open up. Final Thoughts While no practice is flawless, White Cross has consistently demonstrated high standards of veterinary care, a caring attitude toward pet owners, and the integrity to rectify mistakes meaningfully. For anyone seeking a reliable, empathetic vet in the area, I wholeheartedly recommend White Cross.

   My Shihpoo absolutely loves White Cross Vets Hyde. He sits outside wanting to go in even when it is shut. He loves all the staff who work there and even surgery didn’t deter him. Now my Maine coon kitten attends which pleases my puppy as he gets to go more often. I pay for the pet plans which are very helpful financially. I don’t feel that they are taking advantage of me financially which was a feeling I had at another vets. Overall I can not fault this practice and would highly recommend

   Was recommended this vets by my niece who has a Polly dog. I have joined the Monthly plan with 2 of my dogs Which includes lots of different benefits. I highly recommend this vet's. the vet was lovely Interacted with my dogs as soon as she saw them. Receptionists were lovely to very easy to talk. 10 out of 10 xx

   Superb service, we were delayed due to an emergency with another doggo but despite this and several distractions (that made our eyes roll) Lauren remained so professional throughout, we were almost in tears with the previous owners and their doggo but everyone at White Cross stayed calm, professional and reassuring. Our pup can get very anxious at the vets but he left wagging his tail and saying hi to all the other pups. Definitely highly recommend!!

   Around 3 weeks ago my guinea pig called Pearl needed a serious operation to remove a bladder stone. The Turner family would just like to send a really big thank you, especially to Charlotte the vet and the rest of the team who looked after our other guinea pig (Ruby) whilst Pearl was having her operation. I would just like to add that Pearl is doing really well and is feeling back to her usual self and we are so grateful for the care that she received at White Cross Vets.
