Annual Christmas party. The staff are lovely and really helpful. Food was tasty and piping hot considering there was 75 of us to be served simultaneously. Loads of car parking spaces. Good bus routes into Stockport/Manchester

We booked the alma lodge for a bridal sleepover and the bride and bridesmaids to get ready. Originally we had room 1 which is a lovely double room, upon speaking to a very lovely lady in reception asking for more chairs she upgraded us into the bridal room free of charge! Absolutely stunning room, loads of space and perfect lighting. Perfect for us getting ready with thier being about 10 of us. Breakfast was also lovely. All in all the stay was perfect! Thankyou so much for everything. Id definitely recommend. Xxx

The hotel was relatively cheap for the area and is just over a mile from the train station. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a bit like staying at your Nan's house; everything was clean and functional but looked like it hadn't been updated since 1992. I had a comfortable night's sleep and it was quiet. Overall, I'd stay there again if I was in the area for a night.

I can' t comment on the rooms as I was there to attend a wake. The function room was spacious and comfortable. The spread laid on was very good with plenty of options. Worth another visit to experience the room facilities.

Went for their post Christmas Christmas party. The food wasn't amazing, but it wasn't so bad it couldn't be eaten. I was sticking to soft drinks that night and they were all flat.

Enjoyed a buffet meal here after my Uncle's funeral. All the dishes, sandwiches and deserts were fresh and made to a high standard. The shepherd's pie was really good. Plenty of staff to tend the tables serving coffee and tea. Nice bar, staff were politely attentive.
