The venue is cheap, and in guess you get what you pay for. Carpets were stained, furniture was old and tired. Shower just about worked. Thankfully the bedding was clean, and room warm. I wouldn't stay here again, I would rather spend a few £'s more and have somewhere nicer.

The hotel is well situated for both Manchester and Stockport. We really enjoyed the sunlounge of our room. Facilities were basic, as to be expected from the price. The hotel is a lovely building, but the surroundings and rooms were looking a bit tired.

Single worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Room was filthy, reception and all communal areas were also filthy, carpets looked like they'd never been hoovered, damage and marks and grime accumulated on all the walls. Stair treads missing. Doors all have some level of damage. Single least cleanly room I've ever been in, specs of what looks like blood all over the bed sheets, duvets inside the sheets are yellow, rooms have one oppressive white light. Whole place is filthy. Spotted some kind of dead bug on the bed sheet under the mattress, immediately left. Place looks like it's emergency accommodation, absolute rip off pricing I wouldn't recommend anyone even consider this dump.

Dirty car park (discarded syringe, tissues and empty cans). Receptionist barely visible behind desk - sat down throughout. She was pleasant enough though. Unpleasant smell throughout hotel. The carpet throughout was old, worn, dirty in places despite there being a man there who was vacuuming at the time. The public areas were worn and really needed a lick of paint. No help with suitcase up the stairs despite my husband using a walking stick. Lift was out of order! The room was dated and worn to say the least. Carpet was dirty. Bed linen was clean. Didn’t dare check the mattresses! Shower, toilet and sink were clean on first appearances, but there was disgusting mould behind the shower doors once they were closed. Plenty of hot water. The floor beside shower was stained and dirty. The bins had not been emptied from previous occupant. No bedside lights. TV worked. Microwave was clean, fridge was not. Two mugs and one spoon, with kettle, tea and coffee supplied. No cutlery supplied to eat whatever one was heating up in the microwave. Á pretty unpleasant experience, one I will not be repeating. £160 for two nights - very expensive for such a down trodden establishment.

Disgusting. The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I think it's used as emergency accomodation primarily. Keep this in mind if you book. The mattress was stinking and yellow, we left almost immediately after arriving and demanded a refund. They stated it would have to go through booking.com, even though we paid at the hotel. Eventually called and states they would refund if we didn't leave a bad review (which I recorded). Well here's your bad review, I will not be blackmailed l. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Plenty of parking and the hotel is in a good locatiion. We had an attic room which was small, as expected, but clean and had everything we needed. Contrary to some reviews we read the shower in the attic was perfectly fine. The heated towel rail didn't come on but as we were only there for one night we didn't need to dry the towels. No problem with noise coming from outside either. Would certainly use this hotel.agziin.

Could be great with a bit of love, care and attention but good enough for a lay over or pre Airport stay. The beds were spotless but the dusting was a bit lazy! There were stains on the carpet and chairs and marks on the walls. One towel and two bath mats (probably hand towels) was all we got for three of us so take your own. You won't be wowed by this one but a good budget option.

Wasn't expecting much following the reviews on here, but make a judgement for yourself as I found the staff and the hotel to be pleasant- some of the guests less so! I stayed for work over a period of a few days, and it's clear that its the same staff every day from reception open till close. Im unsure if they are also the owners but it gives a very 'family run' style feel that is comforting. After my first night, I was asked how I was coping with the warm weather and to be sure to ask if I needed anything. I was also periodically asked how the room was, and felt extremely safe as a female travelling solo. The hotel is on a main road, but is neighbouring a nice residential area and a church, which gives it a peaceful feel. The amenities in the room are fantastic, the fridge and microwave honestly looked brand new. I'll be honest in that I brought antibacterial wipes to clean the sides following some reviews, but the wipes were as clean as they were fresh out of the packet after wiping down all the surfaces. While the room itself is a tad dated, it has more character than your standard travelodge! Honestly a great hotel with pleasant staff. Can't fault it and honestly wish I was working in the area again to return!
