   I will never take my car here again. After having a major service done here, they did not reset the oil life system on the DIC. Unfortunately, this only flagged up when the change engine oil warning light began to flash. We contacted the garage who were unwilling to correct something that was their mistake. Absolutely disgraceful customer services with incompetent employees.

   Just had my car serviced and a MOT carried out , its the 4th time ive used Town Garage, cant fault them, i would never use anyone else, from the sevice right through to the MOT the car was delt with efficiently and at a great price with notifications from the service department all through the the process. I would without doubt recomend them to anyone,

   I'm a taxi driver and have used this garage since lockdown as they were one of a few that had a work ethic to keep working. I book in for a two hour slot and they never fail to complete the work required on time. Absolutely spot on advice about future preventive maintenance. I have recommended this garage to other people but they have found that they are fully booked up for the next six weeks which us proof of the quality of service they deliver.

   Chose to use this garage after being recommended by a friend whilst having a car issue up in Horsforth (far away from my local garage and where I live) I ended up going twice whilst in the area as the first ‘fix’ didn’t last longer than a few days. Not only was I overcharged massively, my car went on to fail it’s MOT based on the work they had done. I was told it was a rushed botched job and had not been done safely nor properly. Seems they were more interested in a rushed job to earn extra cash then providing a safe and honest service.

   Took 4 old tyres to be swapped over onto another set of wheels as the originals were too rusty to be used. Told them at the time that the inner tubes might also need replacing. Was told that the labour would be equivalent to a puncture repair at £15 a wheel which I thought was reasonable so I took them in. Had a call from them as one of the inner tubes needed a patch due to rust on the rim - fair enough, charged me extra to repair the puncture but I didn't consider that worth mentioning as I'd assumed that meant the other 3 tubes were fine. I picked up the wheels and all seemed fine. Next day put them on my car and noticed they hadn't been balanced, and 3 are flat by the end of the day. I called up today to ask for my money back and got told that I'd have to pay for the labour again on top of the cost of new tubes. They blamed the flats on the old tubes which I had made them aware from the beginning might need replacing, assuming that was all I needed to say to get them to check the condition of them. At this point they hung up on me. I was more than aware, given the age of the tyres (20+ years old), that the tubes were likely not serviceable and told them this when I booked them in. But instead of checking the condition of them while the tyres were off, I'm now stuck paying for the labour again. Perfectly pleasant and friendly when first dealing with them, but the moment something goes wrong you can forget about getting any customer service.

   I contacted this garage last week as I suspected the clutch was going on my car. I’ve just had knee surgery and can’t drive yet, but needed the car to be ok when I could. I explained that I couldn’t bring the car to them and they said it wasn’t a problem they’d come for it. Picked the car up on Monday, ordered the parts and brought it back to me today. It’s the most pleasant experience I’ve had with a garage, and I thought it was a fair price. Thanks so much for your kindness!
